The Pirates Of Illvasari

The Captains of Illvasari are many. The Captains act as a council and each member has equal power, unless a Pirate King is named. To become Pirate King, each Captain must vote. There hasn't been a Pirate King in over five hundred years because each Captain always votes for themselves. If one is elected, the Pirate King's word is law. Until then the Captains and their crew all honor the Pirate Code. Each Pirate Captain also has an island that they can claim as santuary within Illvasari.
