Power Description: The Unified Language is a uniquely powerful Arcana, but can sometimes be slated as one of the weaker ones. The Unified Language works under the impression that no matter the type of Arcana, there is a word to describe every function that it gives. Speaking that word, as a holder of the Unified Language, allows you to formulate that Arcana into being. Even more powerful about this is the ability to combine one or more of these wordspells, creating a very malleable power for an Arcana-user. This power is only available to one heir at a time--currently, this is Daigoro Ito. The power can be passed across a generation as well as down.

Power Description: The 'Null' is the given power to completely negate Arcana. It does not destroy Arcane Energy--rather, it disperses it on contact, or stops it from being brought forth. As a result, users of the 'Null' tend to be alienated in more Arcane societies. The 'Null' manifests itself in two ways on a user. Firstly, they have a field that sits mere millimetres from their skin, cancelling any kind of Arcana that touches them. Because they're also users of Arcana, this means that they cannot use Arcane Items either. Then, their power manifests into an active ability. For instance, Xander de Angelus has a 'Null Zone', that he can use to cancel Arcana in an area around him. This doesn't mean that everyone with the 'Null' can create a zone.

Name Of Family: No single name as there are probably a good number of separate families that are at least carriers.

Any Openings?: Theoretically?  It is old and rare enough that it could be latent within distant and loooong lost branches of family with no one knowing until it shows up.

Power Description: This is not a blessing, it is a curse.  An incredibly rare one.  It is practically an Arcanic allergy, but the person in question needs not be even remotely in contact with external Arcana.  This metaphorical allergy, if we call it that, is capable of reacting to it's own Arcana.  An allergy is a "protective" bodily reaction to something, but in many cases can be a fatal or generally unpleasant reaction to nothing.  This could also be compared to a deletive gene (only brought forth through acts such as incest) that is insanely negative, except this has nothing to do with incest.  Effectively, this is an Arcana that stifles the brain in order to "protect" it.  It dampens, hinders, and severs connections as a protective measure, often assaulting connections created through great effort or unpleasantness...except it doesn't protect at all.  What it does is stifle a person's ability to learn complex activities, to develop talents.  It is a strange form of mental disability.  It isn't hardcore, in many ways you can look at and talk to a person and they seem perfectly normal, and activities they enjoy that don't involve serious unpleasantness (be it exertion or...well, unpleasant).  However, people with this will be found to simply not have anything they are GOOD enough at to make it a productive endeavor.  When people with this condition survive to a ripe old age, it is almost consistently through the diligent aid of people who basically make sure to provide food and shelter for them.  Does this mean a person can't overcome it?  No, not at all.  It tends to stifle relatively new connections in the brain, but if someone works and works and works it is possible to make connections faster than it will effectively destroy and it will ignore the older ones.  Because incredibly fine motor functions are more easily targeted than intellectual gains, when one does become an effective member of society, it's usually as a scholar (I don't mean magical, but that is also possible).  It is incredibly rare, to the point there are many carriers but only a small number of afflicted at any given time.  It also is capable of not being transferred to the next generation, even as a carrier, as the genetics that cause it are so fragile that they just vanish sometimes, so a few families lucked out and lost that piece of their bloodline. It is unknown what determines if someone is a carrier or an afflicted person. If the Arcana that causes the issue is disrupted or negated, the effects will stop, but it must be constantly done as there is no known way to completely cut off the Arcana long term.
