Arcadian Hierarchy

Arcadia is a country of magic. They specialize in the Arcane and many of their citizens rely on Arcane Items to get them through their every day lives. Some of the citizens of Arcadia choose to dedicate their lives to the Arcane and make it into some sort of art form. These people join guilds and these guilds take on jobs that can take them all over the world, if the price is right. There are legal/light guilds along with illegal/dark guilds. Light guilds are legit organizations supported by the government and bound by Arcadian Law. Dark guilds are illegal forms of guilds, often made up of criminals.

Guilds are extremely popular and incredible resource of strength, knowledge, and income, but Arcadia is still run by it's King/Queen. The King/Queen make the laws of Arcadia, deal with budgets, and govern the Arcadian Administration, also known as the AA. The AA can be compared to the military of the kingdom. They're duty bound soldiers who protect the kingdom and govern the guilds within Arcadia. These are the men and women who would fight a war, but if a guild has done something wrong, they show up because they are the only ones skilled enough to take down an Arcanist.

The AA is a group of seven men and women, with equal power and of any Auroran Race (demons and angels are not Auroran), that come together to run Arcadia's military. Beneath them is the Arcadian Defense Legion (ADL), a military of Arcanist that defend Arcadia and aid in disciplining Dark and unruly guilds. When things go wrong or get a little too loud, these are the people that are sent. Although they have their own magic, they've been given Arcane Items  and sometimes weapons that specialize in trapping individuals and larger groups in barriers and immobilizing them.

Within the ADL, there are hundreds of squads, so you can name your squad whatever you like. Each squad is lead by a Captain and each Captain is bound to one of the AA members, so you will have to choose who you get your orders from. Members of the AA and the ADL can be located anywhere in Arcadia since they use Arcane Items to project themselves to meeting sites and to communicate with each other. To prevent bias, no AA member is allowed to have their own guild, but they are allowed to be in command of more than one squad. Though, they try to keep the power evenly spread.
