Taevian Hierarchy
Taeviel is the kingdom of Elves, and so about 95% of its population is Elven. Taeviel is ruled by the Queen, with the King acting as a backup until a new Queen is chosen. The King has no authority unless the Queen is unable to carry out her duties. The Queen of Taeviel is usually a hereditary title, passed down from mother to daughter every few hundred years. The military of Taeviel is exceptionally small. It is lead by a Field Marshal. The Fifth Decree of Queen Eilsana forced the Taevian Military to act as a self-defense force, rather than an 'army' as the old Elven kingdom had. The Taevian Self-Defense Force (TSDF) has its headquarters near, but not in, Elduin, the capital of Taeviel.
