Description: The Personal Defense Explosives, or PDE for short, are small balls of metal that are approximately three inches in diameter. Etched upon this ball is a magic circle, and holding onto the ball one can feel some warmth emanating from within. The ball itself isn't very weighty, nor is it very conspicuous. It easily fits into a pocket, or into a bag. It is also very easy to throw.

Abilities: PDEs are overcharged with energy--so much so that they are extremely unstable. The magic circle etched onto the small orbs are the only things stopping the energy from escaping in a violent explosion of steel shrapnel. Obviously, this is the point of them. In order to break the magic circle, someone without magical power must put a drop of their blood onto the circle and then throw it. Three seconds later, the circle will break and the orb will explode.
Cost: 100g each.
