    Auroran Currency

    Note: There is a chance that information on Auroran Currency is placed somewhere else on the site. If that is so, that information is incorrect. What you read here is how currency will work on AE.

    First off, there are four types of currency: Copper, Silver, Gold, and Platinum coins. All coins are the size of quarters, but are colored like you see before you, but obviously with more of a metallic look.

    Secondly, currency works in increments of 10 and are going to be valued similar to the way normal money works.

    Copper =  dimes
    Silver = 1 dollar bills
    Gold = 10 dollar bills
    Platinum = 100 dollar bills

    With what you see here, this means that 10 copper is equal to 1 silver.

    Remember people, weight counts and banks don't exist outside of major areas. Bank fees do exist (just to keep banks running) and credit cards do not exist. Checks do not exist. (Yet. This is subject to change.) Counterfeiting is obviously illegal world wide.

    Bank: A bank is just a place where your money is stored. A person is charged a small fee every month to keep their money in the bank, to keep the bank running, and it's workers paid.

    Current Banks (Country Leaders: Add to this when you want.)

    Arcadian Banks:

    The Bank Of Arcadia: The main bank in Arcadia. It can be found in all cities you see on the map. Loans are available with collateral and contract signings.

    Rydian's Safe: This bank is for students of Rydian Academy. It allows them to store any financial aid, scholarship money, or money they make on the job. Teachers are also welcome to use it. This bank has no fees and is also responsible for sending out financial aid and scholarship money.

    Braukan Banks:

    Cierian Banks:

    Zakatian Banks:

    Bank of Iserlohn: The Bank of Iserlohn is the main bank of Zakat. Small branches are located in Solai, Khul, Fennmont, Seinburn, Hedoria, and Arkhangelsk, although the main branch is in Iserlohn at the heart of the city, giving traders from each direction of the city an equal travel time. There are also mini-branches located at ports and the like across the Zakatian mainland.

    Deep Laplace: This is where half of the Imperial Treasury is kept. It is somewhere under Laplace, although its exact location is a mystery to all but the select few who work there, the Minister of the Treasury, and the Emperor. All money from deals with the Arcadian government is stored here. At any time, the Emperor has access to 10% of this money to spend at their leisure.

    Pyramid Vaults: Located in Solai, this is where the second half of the Imperial Treasury is kept. It is underneath the large Longinius Pyramid, although its exact location is a mystery to all but the select few who work there, the Minister of the Treasury, and the Emperor. All money from deals with the Braukan or Cierian governments is stored here.
