Eira is now plagued with the heart of a woman who had no choice. No longer corrupted by the strange energy that destroyed her life, Eira struggles with coming to accept the horrible things she did over a decade. Every memory she has causes her enough pain to want to end it all. The only thing that is keeping this poor woman alive is the idea of redemtion and her sister, Tsubine. Eira isn't some soft-hearted gentle woman who wouldn't hurt a fly, but calling this woman a murderer is wrong. "It was like having someone place an evil parasite at the back of my mind... It's like it ate through ever part of my being, took control, and used my body as some sort of puppet to do it's dirty work." Eira's past acts have destroyed her. Any possibility of a normal life is out of the window for her.
Before Eira left for Arcadia to look for her sister, she was always known as the tomboy of her town. She had a smile on her face most of the time, was willing to help, and gave one hundred percent in everything that she did. Because of her Arcrane Enchantments, she made life so much easier for those that lived around her, that many people grew to adore her. She has an easy time making friends and like her sister, was considered one of the more beautiful of their town. Eira's strength does no lie with her physical attributes, but with her mind. She's quite strong willed and speaks in a strong and resolute manner. She is very courageous, determined, and never gives up the goal she has set for herself. And one of these current goals is to seek out and apologize to the many people she hurt.
The memories of Eira's corrupted eight years flood her mind every day and make her feel as if she doesn't have the right to live. Suicide is a common thought for her, but she refuses to act on it. She always finds some new reason to live when she wakes up in the morning, no matter how small. She doesn't want to die, but after all of the lives she has taken, the families she's torn apart, and the people she has hurt, she believes that she deserves to die. She has a very negative mind set about herself. In her mind she is unworthy of life. She doesn't speak very often and has difficultly expressing her feelings. Because of this, she has suppressed her feelings to focus on any goals she chooses to keep. Eira is loyal, independent, and reserved; she appears cold, but is actually quite gentle.
History: Eira was born a twin to Tsubine, the current Emperor of Zakat. As children, their family was quite unfortunate on the financial end. They didn't have much through their childhood. Around the age of seventeen, Eira watched her sister leave. Eira would never forget the image of her sister turning and walking away. "I need to find my own path. I am nothing like Father, so I need to find away to better myself in my own way." was what Tsubine told them before she left. After that, things got worse. They lost more money and Eira was unable to do anything to help because she wasn't a good laborer. One day, she came across an old woman who saw her problems and decided to teach her a few things. Eira soon found that she had quite a lot of Arcana within her, but it was located in the mind.
Eira was a Scholar. Over time, she practiced one type of spell, enchantments. All of her enchantments also concentrated on one thing, enhancement. She used her enchantments to enhance her clothing to be stronger and help her body to be more like her Father. Because of this, her normally weak body was able to do much more. She was able to work along side her Father and learned more about the machinery of the automated fields. Because of this, she was also able to bring much more money into the house and things began to settle, but she missed her sister. Eira and Tsubine were always so close, how could Tsubine just leave the family like that? It hurt Eira to think of it. And at that, she wondered every single day whether her sister was safe, or if she was even alive.
After a year and a half of practice and realizing that she's naturally talented in being an Evoker, Eira decided it was time to find her sister and bring her back to the family. Everything was getting better, at least a little bit, so maybe Tsubine would be ready and willing to return! Of course... where to look? She couldn't tell why, but she felt that Arcadia was her best bet at the moment. She figured it was a 'freaky twin thing' that allowed her to feel this strong urge to make her way towards Arcadia. So, she did. Eira was off. On the way, she was encountered by bandits, thieves, monsters, and other creatures she had not seen before. She was lucky enough to get through, thanks to her enchanted weapons and slight skill in combat, and was only received minor injury through her journey.
Finally she arrived at Arcadia's well-known Academy of Arcane Arts: Rydian. She asked around, but no one recognized her sisters name. Her last hope was down the road, but on her way there something happened. She ran across a young woman just laying there in the rain. Eira hurried to her to see if she was alright, kneeling down to look at her. Eira asked the girl if she was okay, but got no answer. She heard "Such a pure heart..." and felt the girl touch her cheek. Eira's eyes widened as she felt the most horrifying pain serge through her entire body. She couldn't even scream because of the amount of pain she felt. It was like something was taking her over, but she couldn't even put up a fight. Eira let out a short gasp of air and fell, seeing darkness overwhelm her vision before she passed out.
Three weeks later, Eira awoke in an immense amount of pain, screaming her lungs out. She thrashed around, likely to hurt herself, screaming for someone to make it stop. Her chest was the most painful, the one she could not bear. That woman had done something to her, but what? People came to help and without thinking Eira took their lives from them, slaughtering an entire family for no reason what-so-ever. Once she realized what she had done, a strange lack of care was in the place of guilt. She had slaughtered this entire family without cause and felt nothing over it. Yes, something was horribly wrong with her. She was not herself. She felt nothing, but was in enough of her normal mind to realize that she wasn't acting normally. She went in search of a Doctor that would help her, but no one could.
With each Doctor that told her no, she killed them. Their deaths became more brutal with each one. The first was stabbed in the heart, the fifth was beheaded, the tenth strangled until his neck broke, and the fifteenth had their throat cut slowly with a serrated knife. It took eight years, but this corruption was able to completely take Eira over and she stopped her search. She began traveling South and boarded a boat that was to allow her to leave Arcadia. Her current heading, home. She couldn't find the person dearest to her, so she felt the need to kill the person that pushed Tsubine away.
Magic
Type: Scholar
Description: All of Eira's magic has to do with enchantments. It is all she has ever concentrated her magic on, so she does not use her spells in battle. Instead, she uses weapons she has previously enchanted with the spells named below. All spells below are known only by Eira, created by Eira, and used by Eira. Note that because of the nature of these enchantments, Eira actually uses her Arcana to carve them into the item, so they take a long time to get done.

How It's Done: This enchantment takes ten minutes to apply and is done through the carving, writing, or engraving of words into an item.
What It Does: It allows the item to absorb up to three energy based attacks per thread.

Name: Acceleration
How It's Done: This enchantment takes ten minutes to apply and is done through the carving, writing, or engraving of words into an item.
What It Does: Through a short activation chant, it allows the wearer to move at five times the speed of the average human being.

Spoken Chant: Activate acceleration.

Name: Concentration
How It's Done: This enchantment takes ten minutes to apply and is done through the carving, writing, or engraving of words into an item.
What It Does: Allows the user of the item it's on to concentrate their Arcana within the item and build it up, making it stronger and stronger.

Name: Connection
How It's Done: This enchantment takes an hour to apply, adding one hour for each item added to the connection. It is done through the carving, writing, or engraving of certain words into an item with Arcana, along with an invisible line of Arcana to each added item. ( Max 5 Items )
What It Does: The ability this enchantment allows is Arcana to actually flow through each item that it is connected to. It takes up 1 slot on the original item. As an example, a sword and glove. The original item is the glove. The glove has two other abilities on it. The other two abilities can now move through the sword that the glove is connected to and used as such. Because the sword is not actually holding the ability, only acting as a conductor, it does not take up a slot, leaving the three available abilities to be placed on the sword.

Name: Deflection
How It's Done: This enchantment takes ten minutes to apply and is done through the carving, writing, or engraving of words into an item.
What It Does: This allows the item it's enchanted onto to deflect up to three energy attacks per thread, sending them back in a direction of the users choosing.

Spoken Chant: N/A; An energy attack hits the item and it's deflected.

Name: Enhancement
How It's Done: The chant is said aloud and the effect is applied.
What It Does: It enhances both the strength and durability of the users body by 250%, allowing them to preform incredible and unbelievable feats.

Name: Exertion
How It's Done: This enchantment takes ten minutes to apply and is done through the carving, writing, or engraving of words into an item.
What It Does: Allows Arcana to be shot out in different manners, usually in beams or spheres. Moves can be customized, but take a lot of practice and high-leveled control over Arcana.

Name: Lighten
How It's Done: This enchantment takes 30 minutes to apply and is done through the carving, writing, or engraving of words into an item. AND Can be said through chant.
What It Does: Decreases the weight of an object by seventy five percent of their original weight.
Written Activation Spell: Arcanic Lightening
Spoken Chant: Decrease weight and lighten the load. (point towards or touch targeted object)

Name: Reinforcement
How It's Done: This enchantment takes thirty minutes to apply and is done through the carving, writing, or engraving of words into an item.
What It Does: Increases the durability of an item by 20 times it's original state, making it practically impossible to break. Some items, depending on their original make-up, can even be made to be as unbreakable as diamond.

Name: Restoration
How It's Done: This enchantment takes ten minutes to apply and is done through the carving, writing, or engraving of words into an item. AND Can be said through chant. If said through chant, full restoration can take anywhere from 3-30 minutes. Cannot restore the intangible (energy/Arcana).
What It Does: This enchantment/spell actually restores whatever it is used on to it's original state, no matter the damage. It does not bring a person back to life, but can be used to restore their body.

Skills:
Swordsmanship: Eira is highly skilled with one-handed, two-handed, and dual wielding blades. Her level can really be compared to the level of a Master, as if she's been doing it her entire life. She's skilled with one-handed and dual wielding about equally, but two-handed is her weaker point. Because she concentrates on fast, accurate movements and not brute strength, she has trained herself to know how to handle a sword in that manner. Using both arms is something that requires more strength based movements over speed and agility, so even though she can do it pretty well, it's not her strongest point.
Skill As A Scholar: Eira is probably one of the more well-known Scholar's in Zakat, but that doesn't mean everyone will know her name. Her enchantments are extremely strong and within the town she grew up they are considered legendary. She was able to make life easier for so many people, that word began to spread through out Zakat and people indeed did come to seek her to help make their own Arcane Items. When she left, it was slightly devastating for the workers of her town, especially when she never returned. She is mostly known for her Enhancement and Reinforcement enchantments.
