Personality: Eira Marie von Zarkonheinz is the youngest sibling of four girls. She's the youngest, the least attractive, the least talented, the least skilled, and the least kind. Determined to do one thing right in the eyes of her Father, she has become an expert of hating Arcanists. She takes her hatred to a new level, one that even some Zakatians might raise an eyebrow at. This hatred is most often pointed toward Arcadians and the Salan. She wasn't always this way. Eira changed when her Mother became sick and she watched both of her parents suffer. She learned this behavior from her Father and enhanced it in hopes of impressing him. Her insecurity complex depends on it.

Eira is an extremely insecure girl, especially when she's had to follow behind her sisters, who are often looked at as "perfect". Eira was always the ugly one with little talent, no skill, and average intelligence. She had nothing that made her shine among them and any light she did create was suppressed by the sheer distracting beauty of her sisters. Worst of the three was her eldest sister, Tsubine. Eira has come to resent her sister and loved the day Tsubine left home and hoped she'd never return. At least with her other sisters, Eira had the chance to be looked at as something special. With Tsubine around, there was absolutely no hope for her and she hated it. For now, she was free from that.

On her own, Eira is actually quite the kind girl. She's very sweet and more curious than anything else. She loves getting to know people and has a habit of doing her best to make others feel special. Since she's always felt like the least special one of her own family, she doesn't want anyone else to feel that way. She always finds something, even if it's just one thing, beautiful about someone. She always finds something kind to say and hopes to brighten someone’s day with her words and a smile. The only exceptions are Arcadian's, the Salan, and anyone that is an Arcanist. Eira doesn't just hate them, but she fears them, so being around any of those makes her uncomfortable, so she goes silent.

Character Background: Eira Marie grew up watching her Father hate the mere mention of Arcanists and so, she mimicked his behavior as if it were normal. She realized as she got older by the way her sister's and mother reacted to this that it wasn't right, but she didn't change it. Eira grew up with a group of beatiful sisters and a Mother whose looks could be deemed a gift from the gods. Every one of her sisters was very kind. If they weren't kind, they were talented. If they weren't talented, they learned a skill that made them seem that way. And though Eira was quite beautiful, next to the other women in her family, she was the ugly duckling and people often decided to point it out.

The first time Eira heard the comparison was when she and her sisters were shopping. A passerby decided to mention how the "youngest one was nothing in compared to the others". The second time this came around was when she overheard two family friends say "poor little Eira had nothing on them". Eira never mentioned any of this to her sisters or to her parents, especially since one of these times she overheard her Father. "Eira is quite disappointing. Her grades are average and she has no after school activities. Oh well, at least we have three daughters that aren't messing up, especially so soon." This broke Eira and she stopped speaking until she was seventeen years old because of it.

For years, Eira was completely silent. She stayed like a ghost to the family, never holding any conversations. Anytime someone tried to get her to talk, she'd just give them a dead stare. The only reason she ever spoke up again was because a touring Arcanist tried to show off his Arcana. With her Father near her, they both scowled and Eira spoke only where he could hear, "Blasphemous cretin..." Eira began speaking again that day, but barely. It took her over a year to get back to what could be called her normal. She was still very different and it stayed that way up until Tsubine left. Eira took Tsubine's leaving as an opportunity to get herself noticed, and not just by her family, but everyone.

Over the last few months, Eira has been vanishing for days and sometimes weeks at a time. She doesn't tell her family where she's going and always seems to lose them when and if they try to follow. Eira has had a secret, one that she absolutely despises having. In the last few months, Eira has discovered her own Arcana. It came to her naturally when she was mugged in an alley and was suddenly able to walk through walls. Ever since she discovered this, she's been doing her best to keep it a secret and has even researched ways of getting rid of it. She has a horrible time controlling it, so being near her family when it randomly decides to go off is bad, so she keeps leaving her home.

Description: Eira has the ability to alter her body. She doesn't know how to control it, or how many changes she can make. She also thinks that they hey all happen randomly or based off of her emotions, but she can't tell. These are the few she has had happen so far:

• Invisibility: The ability to vanish from sight.
  
• Steel: Her body becomes so hard and heavy it's like striking a heavy wall of steel.
  
• Ghost: Her body is no longer solid and allows objects to pass through her, or her through them.
