The Noir

Originally, the Noir was just three people. There was Luxanna Luminere, a strong willed woman with the natural ability to lead. Then there was Nadia Cyanea, a naive and kind girl with a heart completely contrary to her power. Finally, there was Masamune Fujiwara, an interesting young man with instincts both girls admired. These three had no one else; it was just them. Over time and travel, others joined. They took on jobs and soon settled down into a complete and legal guild after saving up enough money. They were small at first, but they grew. They grew not only as a guild or in power or in rank, but as a family. Every member of Noir is part of the family, not just some organization.

The Noir have become a group of Arcanists and non-Arcanists alike that have banded together to better the lives of the people around them. They take on many jobs from people all around the world, but are known to sticking to the ones that are closer to home. They have a strong sense of community and family, so leaving Arcadia does happen, but it's rare. It's often seen as a way to vacation over actually completing a job. The jobs they take on are often ways of making life easier for Arcadians. Examples include: construction, repair, hunting, escorting, bandit removal, and even recovery (such as bringing a kidnapped girl home). Other than that, the Noir is a family that works and survives together.

Noir Rules

• Treat each guild member with respect and kindness. We are a family, not an army.
  
• Do not reveal anything about you family (guild members) to anyone outside of the guild.
  
• To be a member, you must aid a guild member or a civilian in Caydale at least once a month.
  
• Do not take on jobs you cannot handle.
  
• Keep the guild hall clean, or you'll be forced to clean the entire thing yourself.
  
• The Felli is the animal that represents the Noir.
  

Noir Rankings

The Noir is one of the few guilds that does not have a full blown guild master and yet is still an official guild. They pretend that Luxanna is the "guild master" because she is the leader type, but she has no more authority than anyone else in the guild; some just look at her that way. They refuse to put anyone in charge because they consider each other a family. They have no problem designating a member as the "leader" when it comes to political agendas. What they do allow is naming who the strongest members in the guild are. There are a total of nine strongest. The people considered the strongest are called Devotes and their names contain an element, though not always for their power. Ones that are not considered the strongest in the guild, though are still members, are called 'aligned'.
