Species Name: Weeping Angel
Description: Weeping Angels take the form of stone statues, roughly the size of an average male, when observed. They resemble angelic statues, with wings and a wide dress, and almost always hide their faces behind their hands while observed. It is unclear how a Weeping Angel appears when not observed, as their form in that state is pure energy. It does not emitt light, though.
Diet: Timevore (it devours 'potential time')
Rarity: Super Rare
Location(s) Found: Ruins, graveyards
Abilities: Weeping Angels have a natural defense mechanism. As long as they are observed by anything, be it sentient or not, they appear as a stone statue, unable to move. It doesn't matter if they notice their observer, as this defense mechanism is completely automatic. However, when not observed, Weeping Angels are energy beings without solid form - and they are FAST. If you observe a Weeping Angel from half a mile away, and then just blink for the fraction of a second, it will close most of the distance instantly. As energy beings, they have the ability to slowly drain light from lightsources even while in stone form, as they can move without trouble in complete darkness if you can't see them.
Once a Weeping Angel manages to get close to it's prey - which has to be sentient life, such as a human or an ordinary dragon - it will 'touch' them while in energy form. When touching a target, a Weeping Angel rapidly drains 'remaining time' from them, aging the victim and killing them.
Thankfully, Weeping Angels are attracted to places of tragedy and ruin, and will usually only appear there. They can't be outright killed by conventional means, but they can starve to death - although this process takes hundreds of years. To make sure that Weeping Angels are not a threat any longer, one only needs to make them reveal their faces, which they do shortly before attacking - then place a reflective surface in their face. They then observe themselves, forever locking them into their stone state until they starve to death. A different, and also very effective method, is to make two Weeping Angels look at each other - they will then lock each other into constant stone form. Weeping Angels can see in complete darkness, so even a total lack of light will not free them from either of these methods.
A third option is to detonate a Weeping Angel with excessive amounts of arcane energy. With an incredibly powerful spell, the stone form of a Weeping Angel can be hurt - if one manages to completely break it, it will instantly kill the Weeping Angel.
