Personality: Izumi Arakawa is a mystery. There are very few things people will ever know about her past and those things are usually the moments that they have actually experienced with her. She's very secretive about that kind of stuff. When people ask her why she's like that, she'll be secretive about that too. She really doesn't see why it would be any of their business or why they would want to know. She seems to put little care into what people have done. She keeps her mind concentrated on how they are from the time she's met them and on. If they were a murderer before she knew them, but are now trying their best to help people, Izumi won't care. In fact, keep it to your damn self.

Izumi comes off as pretty tough and a little rough around the edges. She is an independent woman who doesn't like asking for help unless she really needs it, and she rarely needs it. Well, she thinks she never needs help. She's very determined in what she does, but is also very stubborn about a lot of things. She'll risk her own health to not have to ask anyone for help, but will never do so if it would also risk her friends. Izumi has never been the type of woman to wear frilly dresses or be 'cute'. She is strong, determined, and cannot show weakness. Now, the thought of a 'cute' side is not completely out of the question for Izumi, but the chance of her showing such a side is very low.

Izumi may not tell people about her past or ask anyone for help, but she is one of those people that you can count on to be honest with you. If she isn't going to tell you, that's what she's going to say. She won't beat around the bush or try to push the conversation in another direction. She'll be blunt about it and assume that you're mature enough to deal with the replies and answers you get. If you get angry, fine, but don't expect her to sugarcoat anything that she says because you're too weak to handle it. There are only a few instances that Izumi can be caught lying and those are if the stress of the truth would cause medical issues, to the elderly, or to very young children.

Izumi seems to have this unnatural understanding of dragons, for obvious reasons: she is one. No one knows this. Izumi often shrugs her understanding off as training and a natural intuition. Like anything about her life, it's really not anyone's business. Even if she considers you a friend of hers, Izumi won't tell you much at all. The most you get out of being friends with her is knowing that she's got your back. Izumi is very loyal and will go out of her way to look after anyone that she considers a friend. She's very protective over these people and will be merciless toward anyone who tries to hurt them. Having Izumi's loyalty is a very good thing and will probably be very beneficial.

Because Izumi is an Elder Dragon, she wants to protect her own kind. She considers humans and dragons her own kind, but has always felt a stronger need to protect her scale covered friends. Humans have come up with ways to destroy dragons, while dragons are animals. They hunt and kill for food unless provoked or angered. If a dragon goes burning down a town, she wouldn't be shocked if she found out someone had killed the dragon's baby. Sure, there are bad dragons, but like other species, the amount of good seems to outweigh the amount of bad. Izumi wants to find and train as many good as possible. She also teaches people to understand and care for them more.

History: Izumi was born on the dragon side of being an Elder Dragon. This means for the first eighteen years of her life, she was an animal. She kept to the inner areas of the forest, living among other dragons like herself. During this time, she was able to figure out how gentle and loving dragon's could be. They were more of a family to her than her actual parents were. Why? Her mother abandoned her the moment she was born. She was left to die before she even had a chance at life.

Izumi turned eighteen and woke up in a human body one day after having a strange dream. Her dragon family had watched her change into the very creatures they feared the most, but still they accepted her as one of them. As she tried getting used to being in a human body, she discovered her ability to transform back and forth from being a human to a dragon. As time went on, she learned how to at least half-function as a human and was doing quite well. A single accident changed that.

A young child had wandered into the forest, lost from her own family. She startled one of the baby dragon's in Izumi's family, causing the dragon to bite her. The child cried and ran off to her family, which Izumi thought to be okay, but later the family returned with a mob of humans to kill her family. When they came under attack, Izumi convinced her dragon family to run and they regretably left her behind. Seeing this young, un-civilized, naked young woman in the forest, the humans took her home.

While being forced to live with this family, Izumi began to observe them and understand their ways. They taught her to speak, clothed her, fed her, and practically began calling her their daughter. Over time, she was able to even appreciate the human way of life, but things went bad again. Izumi's new family was attacked by a pack of dragons that she was quite familiar with. No one was harmed and Izumi was able to calm everyone down, but the humans were adamant about "killing the beasts".

Realizing she was not going to be able to change her mind, Izumi was forced to fight off the humans to protect her dragon family. She fought hard and after taking an knife in her side, Izumi was lifted up and carried away by one of the Great Dragon's in her family. She was taken to a woman that the dragon's had come to trust within the country of Cieria and there she was healed. Upon awakening, Izumi found herself in a place where Dragon's were looked at as beasts and nothing more.

Dragon's Eye: An Elder Dragon with this ability to see a extremely long distances. It's like they're looking through a magnifying glass. They can zone in on certain objects just to increase the magnification as well. This is an ability that can be turned on and off, but when it's on, the person's eyes change to a yellow color and the pupil becomes elongated.

Element: Lightning
Elemental Abilities:

Lightning Element Immunity: Elder Dragons with the lightning element are completely immune to lightning and electric effects. They are capable of perfectly navigating within a storm as well. They also get a +10 to speed in their dragon form.

Lightning Element Absorption: Izumi has the ability to absorb lightning or electricity to give her a bit of a boost in power. It's sort of a recharging ability.

Lightning Redirection: If a lightning or electricity attack is shot somewhere, she can use her connection with it to pull it toward herself and redirect it completely. The lightning will strike her and she will then pass it through her body and shoot it outwards in the direction of her choice.

Lightning Breath: Izumi can take in a deep breath and charge up a lightning breath attack. The longer it holds, the more powerful it can be, but it always starts out about the size and power that you'd see being shot out of the mouth of an Ordinary Dragon.

Shockwave: Izumi collects her power in a chosen part of her body, usually foot or fist, and punches the ground. Upon impact, a large wave of electrified Arcana shoots through the floor, moving outward like a wave of electricity from the point of impact. Anyone caught in the blast zone, which is three hundred feet, will be hit with power equal to half a full on lightning attack from a Legendary Dragon. This attack also shorts out any electrical devices, causing them to cease working.

Skills:

Draconic Transformation: Because she hasn't concentrated on her Arcane Manifestation, she concentrated on this. All dragons can do it, but how fast? Izumi's transformation takes a single post, and since she is a Legendary Dragon, that's actually a big deal. She has practiced on speeding her transformation time up immensely and has succeeded in doing such. She can transform at will and about five times per post at this speed. If she chooses to do it more, she can, but not this fast.

Strong Fighter: Although she has no technique under her belt, Izumi is a very strong and wild fighter with the ability to crush a human skull in her hand. Her strength and durability alone make her a force to behold. She is not to be underestimated and will take someone out the moment she feels she needs to. Her movements are unrefined and unpredictable, but get the job done the way she likes it.
