Annerose is usually about Annerose. She's full of herself. She's the type of person to buy herself birthday gifts. But really that's more because she doesn't have anyone else who would buy her those gifts—but that's for later. She loves getting pampered and being treated like royalty. Fancy and flashy entrances are her thing, and she's the type to make sure that she has the fanciest and flashiest of all. Annerose feels that she is entitled to quite a few things just from her birthright. One of those things is that people need to like her. She doesn't know how to really make friends, but she does feel that people need to like her. Unfortunately, Annerose often mistakes grabbing peoples' attention as them liking her.

Annerose was raised in an ultratraditional Zakatian house, and thus she has a major distaste for Arcanists. They are good for parties, but that's about it. Annerose says she has yet to see something an Arcanist can do that she can not buy a gizmo that does the same thing. But that's a lie. Annerose is actually terrified of Arcanists. Her father was a bit on the crazy side, so he explained Arcanists as devils and world-destroyers. She thinks Arcadia is a country of pure evil, and so she tries to stay out of there. However, her family's business works with a few Arcadians (who aren't Arcanists), so she sometimes has to travel there.

Annerose is lonely. The only person she trusts isn't even a person, but a stuffed bear she always travels with. No one is allowed to touch Colonel McStuffins but her, and she will smack someone for disrespecting him—and smack them twice if it's about his name. He is the one thing that hasn't lied to her. Annerose has a hard time making friends because she wants people to like her while she doesn't change anything. It's a selfish and stupid thing, but Annerose is still young. When she feels truly alone, Annerose shuts herself off from everyone and hides in her room with Colonel McStuffins. Someone that has her heart would be able to get her out of that kind of funk, but no one has been able to so people around her just leave her alone during those times.

Character Background: Annerose is the second child of the Minkovski family, which owns half of the international shipping company Minkovski-Gusarov based in Mont Blanc in Zakat. Annerose's father is Rohan Minkovski, and her mother died in childbirth. She has an older brother (four years older than she is) who is to be the next head of the family named Gunther. But only one member of her family has made enough effort to actually try to like her. That was her maternal uncle, Colonel Alec McGuinness. While Annerose was young, her family saw to it that she was pampered and treated like a proper lady. Without a mother figure in her life, it fell to servants to do such a thing. It was common for servants to change annually, much to Annerose's displeasure. Annerose was close to her brother too, but he was sent away when she was still young.

Effectively, Annerose was isolated from a young age onward. The only person that didn't go away was her uncle. Alec lived at the same house, and he reported to the High Tower for duty. Alec always made sure to check up on Annerose whenever he got home. It was what her mother wanted him to do, and in time, Alec became Annerose's best friend. Unfortunately, Alec was killed when Annerose was ten. It was a malfunction at the High Tower, and he died while saving countless other lives. This was, unfortunately, also Annerose's birthday. At his funeral, a man with an eyepatch approached Annerose and handed her a box. He said that this was in Alec's office. Inside was the teddy bear that would be known as Colonel McStuffins. The man pulled out a pair of colonel's pins and put them in the bear, so that he'd be the same rank as Alec. Annerose continued to hold onto the bear as she grew older, although she grew more detached from people. She had an emptiness inside of her, and she decided to fill it with people that liked her. Unfortunately, that hasn't worked out well.
