Personality: Dwayne has done his best to calm his life down and has therefore mellowed out with age. He still holds some of the violent tendencies that he did years ago and sometimes has a shorter temper than he would like, but he has learned to control it to a degree. Dwayne is a hard man to get to know since he regrets ninety percent of the life he lived as a human. He hasn't had much contact with normal society, beyond having to carefully feed off of those who travel too close.

Dwayne can sometimes come off as shy, but this isn't entirely correct. Instead, he is afraid of falling off the wagon and hurting someone. He's been doing well surviving on his own without being around people. He fears going back to the man he once was, but hasn't really given anything outside of his immediate area a chance. He'd like to get out of his slump and live a little, but doubts that society would accept him now. Over fifty years has passed since then, but he doesn't want to take the chance.

Now that he actually is "immortal", Dwayne actually wouldn't mind dying. Not aging is fun, but living life without friends, family, or anyone like that isn't the best situation. Dwayne's opinion on his vampirism is merely that it is a way of life. The same way any animal has to eat, so does he. It's just that his food is any humanoid with blood. He's drank the blood of animals before, but it always leaves him feeling unfulfilled and sick to his stomach. He prefers the actual blood of humans and elves.

To pass the time, Dwayne has learned quite a lot about nature and does what he can to keep himself fit. Firstly, he's become a very strong hunter and is a great tracker. He's got a habit of wrestling tigers and taerick when he gets bored. Dwayne has built his entire house and has become a rather good wood carver. He spends his nights working out, running through the forest, and having whatever fun he can make up for himself. He's even made a Tiger friend that he's named Rakil.

Character Background: Dwayne lived a crime filled life for a very long time. From the age sixteen on, he was a horrible person. He couldn't count the amount of people that he had harmed and knew he didn't remember half as much as he should. Dwayne has been a thief, murderer, slaver, and rapist. He's kidnapped innocent people for money and didn't care whether those he hurt were children or not. Dwayne was a terrible man with the resources, intelligence, and skill to get away with it all.

In his mid 20's, when Dwayne practically thought himself immortal, he was taught a lesson in what that really meant. He was the leader of a notorious gang of men with reputations as bad as his own and when they were settling in their lair and partying, they were attacked. They thought an army had found them, but soon realized a single person had taken them out. Dwayne was the only survivor of this attack and as he came from the rubble of his hideout, he was confronted by something frightening.

Dwayne awoke in the depths of some cave barely lit by a small fire. He was alone, but a note was left. "I've spared your life. Deserve it. was all it said. Having never been more frightened in his life, Dwayne found himself wanting a more quiet life. Over time, he settled into his surroundings, but the memories of the horrid things he had done in his lifetime haunted him. He began feeling guilt, something he had never experienced before. Since then, Dwayne has lived a quiet life of solitude.
