Tsubine had not been counting the days she's sat in that chair. Originally, the chair was a cheap one of the type people dreaded sitting in—but a few hours in, she had a comfortable recliner brought in. And so aside from using the bathroom and when the doctors forced the Emperor to leave, Tsubine had not left her sitting position. If you looked at her eyes, they would only reflect others. She was tired, and yet she kept herself sleeping lightly. She still wore that ornate hairpiece and the mantle with the choker, but she was not wearing any other armor, so she was comfortable. Although, she wasn't as comfortable as she liked to be when she slept, so that may have hampered her ability to sleep.

But the main reason the Emperor of Zakat was not sleeping was worry. Worry for the reason she was sitting in this chair. Worry for the person lying in the bed in front of the chair. Worry for the person's arm on which her hand was resting almost-constantly. Imperial Royal Guard members stood outside the door and dare not enter. They would even stop the Grand Council from entering on Her Highness's orders. Tsubine didn't want to see anyone much. Surprisingly, she had even sent Lunaria, one of her only true friends, away. Although, that was also because she trusted Lunaria to keep up the day-to-day operations of Laplace running smoothly. The official story is that the Emperor had fallen ill with a nasty cold. She would return as soon as she was feeling better. And yet Tsubine was still healthy. She was tired, but healthy. She had to lie to her people, and that hurt her nearly as much as seeing the person in front of her writhing in pain.

But all this talk, and she was not awake. Yes, the Emperor of Zakat has fallen asleep. She would take short, few-hour-long naps instead of just one long sleep. She was not dreaming, as it was impossible for her to get comfortable enough to dream. And yet, she was still making odd noises. This was all from the worry for the person lying in that bed. And then, someone began to touch her shoulder. It was an unforgivable act for anyone but her family (although no one knew where or who her family was since none had ever appeared with her). "—ness. Your Highness..." After a few lightly tugs, she began to stir awake to a calming (yet obviously worried) voice. A male doctor with thick-rimmed glasses was the one trying to wake the Emperor. "Mnnn..." A noise escaped from her throat and her eyes creaked open. Yawning slightly, she moved to grasp the arm of the person lying ahead of her.

"I apologize for waking you." The doctor retreated to the other side of her, checking the vitals of the patient. "It is fine..." Tsubine's voice was obviously tired and down. "Is there a change in her condition?" And all while she spoke to the man, her eyes were fixated on the woman lying in that bed. "I'm afraid not..." The doctor shook his head, flipping through charts and looking at some of the gizmos flashing above the patient. "But that's also a blessing... considering she's only gotten worse since she's been here." ". . . . ." Tsubine did not reply to him, she only stared at the sedated face of the blonde woman lying in that bed. "But, Your Highness..." The doctor finished looking at his gadgets and data. "It is not my place to say this, but your people are worried about you." He signed his name to one chart, placing it back onto the side of the patient's bed. He turned to the Emperor, who still paid him not attention. "We are worried about you. Sitting here isn't going to help her condition any. You have a country to rul—"

Without hesitation, she interrupted him. Her eyes were still fixated on her sister until then. Now, her eyes looked down at her own knees. "Silence." Her voice was now more angry. Her aura was one of someone about to snap. "My apologies... but—" "Do you not think I know that?!" Her voice trembled. That strong voice was still weak inside. Although she barked such harsh words to him, she was still unsure of herself. "I know I have a country to rule. I know I can not stay here forever. But... I can not leave her side." Tsubine recalled what had stopped their fight, and it was her. She remembered what had snapped Eira out of that horrible state, even if it was just momentarily, and it was her. She knew that if Eira would awake and cause havoc... then she would be the only one capable of saving her. Or so she thought.

A few moments of an awkward, post-argument silence passed before Tsubine spoke up. "Just leave..." She looked back to Eira, her twin sister, lying in that bed. "I am still tired... but I will not leave her side." The doctor, feeling uncomfortable, was so glad she asked for him to leave. "Please take care of yourself too, Emperor." A weak smile sank into her face. "Thank you for the concern." As he turned around to walk out, she remembered something. Or rather, someone. Something about the way he spoke... reminded her of someone. "Doctor." He immediately turned around. "Yes, your Highness?" "What about the other patient brought in with this one? How is her condition?" The doctor looked slightly shocked. He began to fidget his fingers. "Ah... no one told you." With her arm still on Eira's, Tsubine flipped around to face the doctor. "What do you mean?"

Her expression was of both anger and of worry. Anger that someone forgot to tell the fucking EMPEROR of all people that something changed and worry of what did change. The doctor cleared his throat. "Ahm... she sort of... disappeared a week or so ago. We went searching for her but we could find nothing. She's still injured, but it wasn't life-threatening, so she should be fine..." Tsubine felt that Luxanna could take care of herself, definitely, but... this was still worrying. "If you find out anything on her, tell me immediately." She turned back to Eira. She was watching her sister sleep, albeit it was forced and seemed painful. Tsubine knew that this was for the best. She didn't want to fight her sister again. But... where had Luxanna gone...?

    What's in a Name? [CLOSED] SerenityLuxannaEira_zpsf63a30b7

Sixteen days before current time... Luxanna had woken up in the infirmary of the Zakatian Palace, Laplace. She was weak; it had only been a few hours from their encounter with Eira von Zarkonheinz. Her suspicions had been correct; it really was the Emperor's sister. There was no identity theft. Luxanna lied there, going through every inch of her mind to figure out what could have happened there. Those eyes, those dreadfully dead eyes haunted her mind. No human looked so soulless. A few hours passed before people noticed she was awake and the entire time she laid there she thought of Eira. The moment the nurse stepped up to her, she turned her head and asked where Eira was. Of course, she was told nothing. Luxanna was not military, high ranked, or anything like that. She was a messenger, nothing more to these people. She didn't care. There was something she had to see, whether they liked it or not. It was easy to slip by them; being able to go invisible was wonderful.

It didn't take too long for her to listen to a private conversation between a few guards. It was easy to find where Eira was being kept. When she arrived, as easily as she had found her way into the palace before, she slipped by the guards and into Eira's room. Her heard was pounding; this woman frightened her. Eira was sitting on her bed, slouched over and staring out the window. Luxanna could tell she was stiff and moved closer. As she stepped around, Luxanna's eyes widened at what she was seeing. Eira was in a massive amount of pain. One of her eyes were yellow, the other green. Her breathing was heavy; she looked like she was fighting off some sort of disease. Luxanna shouldn't have been seen, but some how that wasn't the case. Eira's eyes shot over to her along with her hand. She didn't have time to dodge before Eira's hand grasped tightly around her throat and her spell dropped. “What do you want?” Eira asked, her voice strained. “Wh-What... is h-happening... to you?” Luxanna struggled to speak through a half-closed wind pipe.

Eira dropped her and she fell to the ground, holding her throat and trying not to cough to loudly as she caught her breath. “I don't know.” Eira practically collapsed onto her bed, “It happened before, but never this fast... I-It's wh-at... made me.. do so many things... bad things. I-It's l-like it's taking... me over.” Eira's body convulsed with a sudden shock of pain, as if she had just been electrocuted. Luxanna went over to help her, holding her body down. “Taking... you over?” Luxanna mumbled in question. She placed her hand on Eira's arm. She could tell something was invading her, but it wasn't in her blood. “It's in your Arcana...” she said surprised and then suddenly a knock came to the door and Luxanna's eyes widened. “I will help you...” she said to Eira, who just looked at her like she was an idiot, “I promise.” As the door opened, Luxanna went invisible. She didn't even pay attention to who walked in. She just hurried her way out of the room before the door was closed behind them. She didn't reveal herself until leaving the palace. She stood in an alley way, trying to catch her breath. “Taking her over...” she thought and the first place she went was the Zakatian library.

Six days before current time... And that is what brought her here. After about ten books, fifty calls, and a quick Arcadian history lesson, Luxanna found out something that might be able to help. A woman by the name of Serenity Verdant had single-handedly prevented the spread of CAE. Maybe someone like her, or Serenity herself, could help. At first, she was on the very border of Arcadia, where Serenity was rumored to live. She found this cute little cottage and a village not far off, but no Serenity. “Damn it...” she cursed herself. She didn't know how long Eira would last and it had already been over a week. If she was late... well, she didn't want to imagine what would happen then. Luxanna asked around and was told quite quickly of some handsome dark haired man sweeping her off her feet and taking her away from here. “Where'd they go?” Luxanna asked. “Well, she didn't know exactly where his house was, but she said to search for both of them in Colburn, at the Academy, if she were ever needed.” a young woman explained to her. Luxanna thanked her and found her way out of the village as fast as she could. And then Rydian, half a day later.

“Excuse me, I'm looking for a woman with green hair, green eyes, petite. Her name is Serenity?” that question was asked quite a lot, “She's apparently living with a teacher at Rydian, one who recently went on some sort of exhibition?” And that was added when needed. Most ignored her, some shook their heads no. Finally, someone spoke up and gave a few people that she might be talking about. Of course, she went to three of their houses. No Serenity, No Serenity, No Serenity... Next! Luxanna's eyes caught the figure of a young woman walking along a path out side of the main town. A quick rush of adrenaline and she began running toward her. “Let that be her...” she practically begged. Her body was sore and aching all over. She hadn't had a decent night rest in so long and she wasn't going to until she got back. “Miss Verdant!” she called out, but the woman didn't stop. “Serenity Verdant? Are you Serenity Verdant?” she called out again and the woman stopped and turned to her. “Yes...” Serenity blinked a couple times, looking confused at Luxanna. “I-..I need your help.” Luxanna told her. Serenity's previous demeanor of carefree innocence dropped and her expression got serious. “Where am I needed?”

Present Time... A loud whistle woke Luxanna up from her long and well-deserved slumber. The train was coming in to their stop. She rubbed her eyes and looked over to see Serenity with her face plastered against the glass. She was looking out at the city with wonder in her eyes. Luxanna smirked; she had no idea the famous Serenity Verdant would be similar to an innocent child. It was cute. Serenity gasped and caught Luxanna's attention, but she soon realized that it was just her seeing all the technology. Luxanna shook her head in an 'what am I going to do with you' fashion. Soon, the train came to a gentle stop and she was able to get off. Fearing Serenity getting lost in the hustle and bustle of the city, she actually felt the need to hold her hand. Serenity didn't seem to mind though, once the reason was explained. After a decent walk, they finally came to the palace. “Is this it?” Serenity asked and Luxanna nodded, “It's so pretty!!” Serenity giggled and hurried up toward the castle. “W-Wait!” Luxanna said, but they were stopped any way. “Hey! I wanna go inside.” Serenity said, looking over the guards shoulder. “It doesn't work like that here.” Luxanna pulled Serenity back and stepped forward. “We need to see the Emperor.” she said. “The Emperor is ill. She will not be seeing anyone.” the guard explained.

“But I thought you said the Emperor's si-...” Serenity started, but Luxanna shot a glare back toward her. Serenity instantly shushed. Luxanna sighed and turned back toward the guard. “Trust me... If you don't let me in to see the Emperor, it'll be your ass on the chopping block. Not mine.” Luxanna said with the utmost confidence, causing the two guards to look at each other. “Tell her.. Luxanna is back... And with help.” Luxanna said. The two guards took a moment to discuss her name and then nodded. Still holding Serenity's hand, Luxanna pulled her along. Like a child, Serenity looked around in awe at the palace as they were lead into the main hall. “This is so cool. I haven't been to Zakat in a few years, but I've never been in here.” Serenity said. “Wait here.” the guards walked off, leaving Luxanna and Serenity in the main hall, though they were not unwatched. Serenity began poking at some of the decorations as they waited for the guards to inform the Emperor of their arrival. “Serenity!” Luxanna yelled at her, though in more of a whisper. It startled her, causing her to bump into a vase and knocked it over. “Ah!” Serenity's hand reached out toward it, but missed and it shattered along the ground. “Oh my god! GET OVER HERE!” Luxanna yelled out of frustration and Serenity hurried back to her side. “Alain woulda caught it...” Serenity said and Luxanna just glared at her.

It seemed the medicines were keeping Eira quite still now. But just in case, as she had latched onto a doctor's throat before, there were a couple of restraints to keep her arms from moving too far up. The bed had also been enchanted to reject Arcana, as she was a scholar. Of course an actual attack would cleave into it but there would be no counter-enchanting this thing. Tsubine was rubbing Eira's arm during this time. Right above where that shackle was, her thumb would constantly be traversing Eira's skin. It was her skin... somehow, Tsubine knew it. Maybe it was the bond that twins share. Maybe it was from all of their time playing together. The reason why didn't matter. The fact was that it was her sister's skin.

And yet, Tsubine's mind was telling her it wasn't. It was so pale and sickly, just like her hair. And although she was still so deep in sleep, Tsubine could only imagine that her eyes had now been turned that piercing yellow that she was beginning to hate and fear. But even so, she continued to run her hand on Eira's arm. She didn't even notice when the door opened behind her, she was so focused on her sister. The normal Tsubine would have noticed this right off of the bat. But now... things were different. "Your Excellency." A guard, not Cammon unfortunately, had walked into the room. Tsubine did not turn around to greet them. "What is it?" She was still so focused on her sister... she was leaving herself open to attack. This was dangerous for an Emperor.

"The Main Gate has let two people in." "That is none of my concern, is it?" Tsubine sighed a little, still not granting the guard the decency of speaking face-to-face. "People come in and out of Laplace every day. What is so special that these two needed my attention?" The guard cleared his throat and took in a deep breath. He was collecting his thoughts, trying to get the exact wording right. "It is because one of the two said Tell her Luxanna is back and with help." Tsubine's hand stopped moving. She turned to the guard, showing a face that could only be described as a perfect mixture of relief, fear, and anxiety. "I do not care how you do it, but you get those two down here as fast as possible." Tsubine was dead-serious. She didn't care if they had to drive a car through Laplace to get them down to this level. Just whatever was fastest.

The truth is, this part of Laplace is not on any blueprints. It's part of an emergency control bunker. If there was an elevator that led to this floor, one would have to press B83 to get there. Yes, this place is so far underground that few things could even get down that far. In fact, communications to the surface were all hard-wired because signals would get lost in the dense earth and stone beneath Laplace. The place, known as Magellanica, was off-limits to anyone who wasn't Imperial Royal Guards or part of the Grand Council. And the Emperor as well, of course. Where Tsubine and Eira were was actually three floors beneath the reception area of Magellanica, so they were 83 stories beneath Serenity and Luxanna. Thankfully, Zakat's specialty is high-speed transportation and that includes elevators.

    What's in a Name? [CLOSED] SerenityLuxannaEira_zpsf63a30b7

It wasn't too long they were forced to wait. Once Serenity broke something, she decided to stay quiet. She felt guilty for letting someone else clean up her mess, but Luxanna was holding her wrist rather firmly so she could not move. She felt like a child, but that was her fault. She got too excited about going on a trip and ended up acting like one. She was doing her best to keep her thoughts straight when a voice echoed into the hall. “Come with me.” a man ordered and Luxanna pulled Serenity along with her. At first, they were walking, but with a rushed “hurry up” from the guard, they were running along with him. They came to a small room and stepped inside, unaware at first that it was an elevator. As the door closed, Serenity backed herself into a corner. She had a few doubts about the people she had trusted while being stuck in a small room. She kept quiet as she felt them being lowered farther and farther into the earth. She could tell by how hard it was to sense anything. Soon, she could sense nothing but the two in the room with her.

And then she could sense something that made her gasp. “Are you okay?” Luxanna asked when she noticed the frightened look on Serenity's face. “I-I... don't know.” she said, “What is down there?” Luxanna looked at Serenity confused. She was looking downward, her gaze slowly raising to normal as they continued their descent. Soon, the elevator came to a stop and the guard stepped out, ordering them to come along. Luxanna followed as instructed, but Serenity wasn't moving. The guard looked back to her and as the elevator went to close, stopped it. “Come on.” he ordered harshly. Serenity took in a deep breath and hesitantly stepped out of the elevator. “Hurry up.” the guard slightly pushed her, causing her to fall forward, tripping over her own feet. She quickly got back up, but not in time for Luxanna to not grab the guard by his face and push him up against a near by wall. “You lay a hand on her again and you won't live to see another fucking day, understood?” she threatened quite loudly actually. “I-It's okay.” Serenity stepped forward and pulled Luxanna back. The guard was shocked she would dare do something like that, especially following with a threat.

“Go.” Luxanna ordered him and he nodded. They continued walking and as they got closer, Serenity got more worried. This sensation was overwhelming her. Her ability to sense the intentions within people's Arcana was making this an even scarier experience. Soon, they came to a door and Serenity could tell what she was sensing was right behind it. She was scared to go in. The guard opened the door and Luxanna went in first. She nodded to someone in the room and then glanced back to Serenity. Luxanna motioned for her to enter and since nothing happened, she felt it must be safe. She felt no negative intentions from the new person that she currently could not see, nor from Luxanna, so it would be okay. She took in a deep breath and stepped forward, leaning in slightly to peek around the door as she stepped into the room. “Emperor Zarkonheinz... This is Serenity Verdant.” Luxanna said, not knowing whether that name would be recognized here. Serenity said nothing. Her eyes were fixated on the woman restrained in the bed. She stepped forward, up to the bed and stared wide eyed at her. Her look was of confusion and of fear.

“This is impossible...” Serenity muttered just loud enough for the others to hear.

After Tsubine sent that guard away, she didn't leave Eira's side. Every now and then, she'd glance back at the door. She was anxious to see Luxanna... but why? Why did she have this overwhelming need to see it was her? Surely it must just be the worry she normally has... or maybe she was afraid that what was happening to Eira would be happening to Luxanna. Either way, she needed to see that Luxanna was okay. But at the same time, she wanted to slap Luxanna for getting her worried again. Tsubine knew that the lady of the Noir was more than capable of handling things on her own. She was one of them Devoties or something, so surely, surely she was strong. But dammit, she was still injured! But Tsubine only sighed, knowing she can't control someone else's life, especially someone with no ties to Zakat.

Minutes passed and Tsubine's anxiety only grew. She began to feel a twinge in her stomach. She hadn't eaten much since they had arrived so many days ago. She'd eaten enough for her stomach not to growl, but a half-empty stomach and worry flowing through her body was not a good combination. And then time began to slow as the door creaked open like in a horror movie. Tsubine jolted up, her hand finally leaving Eira's. She stared at the door as it almost seemed to refuse to open. In her mind, she could only say Faster, faster! Sweat began to trickle down the side of her face and her anxiety only made her eyes open wider. Her pupils were almost swallowed by purple when the door finally opened...

Luxanna stepped in first. She seemed at least somewhat okay. She wasn't missing an eye, an arm, or a leg... so that was a good sign, right? A bit of a weak smile came across her face. The sweat stopped and her eyes returned to normal. Whether or not Luxanna's help could do anything, somehow Luxanna being okay was calming her down. But Tsubine could not speak up yet. She only returned the nod Luxanna gave her. Something told her that it was her asking permission for the other person to enter. And so, Tsubine waited on the other guest to walk in. Tsubine was standing at her full six-foot-one when this shorter little lady peeked in and followed Luxanna. She didn't look a day over twenty, and she was around a foot shorter than Tsubine was—which only made her feel freakishly tall.

"Emperor Zarkonheinz... This is Serenity Verdant." Tsubine... had no idea who that was. The way Luxanna introduced her made this Serenity seem like she was an important person. The only female rulers were the ones in Arcadia and Zhilihan... so Tsubine had no idea whatsoever what made this lady so special. But Luxanna had apparently left to find her... so it must be big. "Miss Verdant, it is a pleasure to meet you." She said, forcing a bit of a happier smile across her face. She still looked tired and weak, but the Emperor has to bear through pain and give rousing speeches... so this was no issue. "I am Tsubine von Zarkonheinz, the Emperor of Zakat." Tsubine did not extend her hand. Instead, she retreated one hand behind her and placed it on Eira's knee. "Although this meeting should be under... more positive circumstances."

Tsubine turned to Luxanna. "Tell me... why did you bring her?" She turned her head back to Eira's sleeping face. "I assume you think she can help her..." Turning back to both Lux and Serenity, her face curled into one of begging. "But if you risked your physical health to find her... I think you must know more of her than I do." She turned back slightly, rubbed Eira's knee, and then stepped away from her sister. "So, Miss Luminere... I will trust you on this. You have not lied to me so far. And if you can trust Miss Verdant... I will as well." Honestly, she wanted to go out and hug Luxanna. Honestly, she wanted to go out and slap Luxanna. She was both relieved and worried about her, seeing that she was okay... or at least okay from what the Emperor could see. But she didn't. She was too tired and too weak to do either of those things right now. She turned to Serenity. "That woman in the bed..." she took a deep breath, "...is my twin sister, Eira von Zarkonheinz." Her eyes were still that of one who was begging. "I know not of what is ailing her... but I beg of you... please save her."

"Miss Verdant, it is a pleasure to meet you." Serenity did not mean to seem rude, but she did not reply. Her entire focus was on the horrible sensation that she was sensing in the woman on the bed. "I am Tsubine von Zarkonheinz, the Emperor of Zakat." Serenity heard her, but yet again she got no reply. "Although this meeting should be under... more positive circumstances." Luxanna chuckled a bit, trying to lighten the situation. “We don't work that way.” she said, referring to their past meetings. The two of them never seemed to be in the same area on good circumstances, at least not yet. "Tell me... why did you bring her?" Luxanna stepped closer to Tsubine. She cleared her throat and looked toward Serenity, who was just staring intently down at Eira. “Well... This is the woman who ended the plague that was spreading through Arcadia a few years back.” Luxanna explained, “Chronic Arcana Eradication, I believe is what it was called. It was some sort of disease... I do-..”

“It is a disease that worked it's way through a person's stream of Arcana.” Serenity interrupted as she pulled out a ribbon and wrapped her hair back behind her, “Though Arcana is central to either the head or torso area, it still moves through out the body, just smaller amounts of it. CAE is a virus that eats away your Arcana, causing your body a lot of pain...” Serenity stepped over to the side and set a bag she had been carrying for quite some time now to the side. "I assume you think she can help her..." the Emperor asked Luxanna. “I'm hoping so.” Luxanna said and took in a deep breath. "So, Miss Luminere... I will trust you on this. You have not lied to me so far. And if you can trust Miss Verdant... I will as well." hearing that made both Luxanna and Serenity's stomach hurt. Luxanna wanted to keep the Emperor's trust, to help her, to reunite her with her sister. Serenity, on the other hand, was very worried for this situation. A tinge of guilt hit Serenity when she too thought of breaking their trust. She had just met both of them, but she didn't want them mad at her.

"That woman in the bed..." Serenity looked back toward the Emperor, knowing she was now being talkied to, "...is my twin sister, Eira von Zarkonheinz." Serenity looked back down toward Eira and took a deep breath. "I know not of what is ailing her... but I beg of you... please save her." Okay, so no pressure right? This was why Luxanna didn't tell Tsubine where she was going. She couldn't have her living in hope only for it not to work. “I... can't promise anything.” Serenity said in a regrettable tone, “Sh-She.. Uh... What ever this is... has been in her for a very long time. It's corrupting her and every day she is fighting it back.” Serenity explained and began slowly pacing around the room. “I.. have the ability to sense people's intentions. I can sense it both in Arcana and mere aura. I don't understand it, but I've lived with it for my entire life.” Serenity said, leading into her point, “When I walked in... I thought there was a battle going on in this room. I thought two people were trying desperately to kill each other. From what I am able to tell, it is like someone walked in and started a fight and Eira is currently losing that battle. Eira is seriously weak... Even if I can eradicate the source... I have no idea how she'll be after... I need you to understand that.”

"We don't work that way." For the first time in weeks, Tsubine let out a bit of a chuckle and had a flash of a genuine smile. She needed that, but it wasn't something to last long. "Well... This is the woman who ended the plague that was spreading through Arcadia a few years back. Chronic Arcana Eradication, I believe is what it was called. It was some sort of disease... I do—" And this Serenity woman interrupted. "It is a disease that worked it's way through a person's stream of Arcana. Though Arcana is central to either the head or torso area, it still moves through out the body, just smaller amounts of it. CAE is a virus that eats away your Arcana, causing your body a lot of pain..." That did help the Emperor understand what that was. As someone who has no Arcana, she had no idea really how it worked entirely. Sure, she's had anatomy lessons and whatnot, but like male genitalia, she may understand the basics of it—but having one is different that knowing the cross-section of one in a textbook.

"I... do not think that is what she has. She can still use her Arcana well enough that the bed has been enchanted to reject other enchantments." Tsubine awkwardly explained that to Serenity. Not awkwardly as in it was an odd subject, but she simply didn't know entirely what she was talking about. "Although I have studied it, I have no Arcana of my own, so I can not be entirely sure. She is a Scholar-type I believe." Tsubine stepped away slightly, still within arm's reach of Eira, but far enough away so not to get in the way of Serenity. She accidentally put pressure on Serenity with her begging. She didn't realize it at first. "I... can't promise anything." But once she said that, she figured it out. She would blame it on exhaustion. Normally, she wouldn't put all of her focus on one person. "That is fine..." But she was still slightly sad about it...

"Sh-She.. Uh... What ever this is... has been in her for a very long time. It's corrupting her and every day she is fighting it back." Tsubine wondered what that meant. Eira hadn't been like that when they were kids... so that only left... the time from when she disappeared until now. "I.. have the ability to sense people's intentions. I can sense it both in Arcana and mere aura. I don't understand it, but I've lived with it for my entire life. When I walked in... I need you to understand that."

Tsubine understood that. Tsubine understood that the Eira that would survive—if she would even survive—may not be the one she grew up with. But... She turned to Eira. Tsubine had much more faith in her sister than the other two seemed to have. While it may have been blind faith, while it may have been even naive for the Emperor to believe in her own flesh and blood... Tsubine knew her sister was strong. "I think she is stronger than you give her credit for..." She placed her hand on Eira's shoulder. She smiled slightly to her sister. She believed in her. "We... fought. The one that I think should be described as the 'winning' side is who I fought... She was out for my own blood..." Tsubine turned back to Serenity, still smiling weakly. "...but somehow... my sister was able to break through that. I do not know if it was because of me... or if it were her own strength. I just believe that she can fight through this."

"I... do not think that is what she has. She can still use her Arcana well enough that the bed has been enchanted to reject other enchantments." Serenity nodded. She agreed with the Emperor. Whatever this was, there was one thing Serenity was sure of. It wasn't a coincidence. She didn't just get sick. It was put into her body. An actual person put this into Eira and caused all the suffering they had been through. She kept this information to herself though. She didn't want to cause any more harm. "Although I have studied it, I have no Arcana of my own, so I can not be entirely sure. She is a Scholar-type I believe." Serenity glanced back down to Eira and stepped over to the opposite side of the bed, so Tsubine could still stand next to her sister. Luxanna stepped up to the bottom of the bed and looked worriedly down at Eira. Even after Serenity's long explanation over what is happening with Eira, Luxanna's expression hardened. She didn't get angry, but the look in her eyes showed an unwillingness to give up on Eira for the Emperor's sake.

"I think she is stronger than you give her credit for..." Tsubine said and Luxanna nodded in agreement, letting out a short "mhm". "We... fought. The one that I think should be described as the 'winning' side is who I fought... She was out for my own blood..." Tsubine explained, "...but somehow... my sister was able to break through that. I do not know if it was because of me... or if it were her own strength. I just believe that she can fight through this." Serenity had a few theories over what happened. Her main one was that the corruption was effecting mostly Eira's mind. Since she was a scholar, that's where most of her Arcana and the corruption would be taking place. It's no shock that it effected her mind. "You can help her." Luxanna said as if she already knew the outcome of this situation. Serenity glanced back toward Luxanna and blinked a couple times. Luxanna merely looked to her with a serious expression and motioned her eyes toward Eira. "So do it." she said and then stepped over to a chair to sit.

Serenity stared at Luxanna, wondering whether that was confidence in her abilities or merely an order. Either way, with a quick glance to Tsubine, she turned her attention toward Eira. She brushed the young woman's hair back and was about to begin when Eira's eyes shot open. "Get your fucking hands off me." Eira glared toward Serenity who removed her hand almost immediately. Eira's voice was back to being inhuman; it caught Serenity off guard. "You." Eira looked toward Luxanna, lifting her head form the bed to look at her, "Didn't I kill you?" Luxanna stared right back, her eyes stern. It was like they were challenging each other. "No." Luxanna spoke up a few seconds later, "Now please, sit back and relax and let Serenity do her job. If you do, you can go back to being how you were before... A family, with your sister." Eira's expression slowly turned toward Tsubine and she chuckled. "Sister? I have no sister." Eira said, moving back into the denial that she had a couple weeks ago.

"You don't even believe that." Serenity said as she placed her hand back on Eira's forehead, "If you did, you wouldn't have immediately turned toward her." That was a little reassurance for the rest, but a mind boggle for Eira. She'd now be forced to think on what her true feelings are, raising questions and doubts, allowing the real Eira to pull forward while Serenity helped separate her from the corruption. Eira narrowed her eyes and pulled against the restraints. "Untie me." she demanded. This was something Serenity was going to have to ignore. She closed her eyes and did her best to block out anything that was being said to her, including from the other two in the room. "UNTIE ME!" Eira yelled and began pulling violently, causing the bed to shake. "Hold her down." Luxanna jumped up from her chair and hurried over to Eira. She placed her hands on Eira's ankles, putting all of her body weight into holding her down. Over time, a light began to form under Serenity's hand. Once it was formed, she pressed it down into Eira's head and that's when the process began...

"Get your fucking hands off me." Those words snapped Tsubine out of her exhausted state. That voice was the same as the one that aimed to strike her down. That voice sent a chill down her spine and the tiny hairs on her arm stood up like if she were near a lightning storm. Her heart began to race, adrenaline rushing through her body. Her pupils danced from large to tiny, shaking as she began to realize what had happened. The sedatives should have been enough to keep her out for another day, but... things were not as planned. Had she just been pretending to be asleep? Had the sedatives actually had no effect? All those possibilities shot through her head as Eira began to challenge Luxanna.

Tsubine's mind did not comprehend the noises coming from the two. She did hear Eira speak to Luxanna as well as Luxanna's retort. However, she did not translate the noises into words. She was too taken aback at first. Her body was still adjusting to being awake, but even that would have its time to pass. And that time was as soon as Eira's dull, inhuman gaze met Tsubine's. "—ter? I have no sister." Tsubine swallowed what saliva was in her mouth, trying to parch her throat that was now dry from her own flesh and blood's stare. She was stuck. It was like her body was as stone as the walls in this room. Her muscles could move no matter how much she wanted them to... until another voice shattered that cold, hard restraint. "You don't even believe that. If you did, you wouldn't have immediately turned toward her."

Tsubine's breathing returned to normal and her eyes stopped almost flickering. She was slowly getting the feeling back in the extremities of her body. She even wiggled her toes, although the boots she wore made it impossible for the rest to see those ten cute digits. Kchang. It seemed as though Eira finally noticed the metal shackles on her wrists. "Untie me." It was an order no one would follow. The voice itself may affect people, but the words would have no meaning. Kchang. Kchang. Kchang. "UNTIE ME!" And now the order was barked, the voice becoming even more inhuman. The bed began to rattle, but it was sturdy enough to withstand anything but a direct attack from the sword Eira owned. Thankfully, no one was stupid enough to leave that in here. Her armor and sword were both kept in a special safe many stories above. Unless she somehow broke through the vault door with her bare hands, there was no way she would be forcing her way to get them.

Tsubine stared at her now-screaming sister. Well, screaming is not right. No, the noises were more like metal being torn apart. The noises, thankfully, weren't continuing for long. "Hold her down." Luxanna spoke up, grabbing Tsubine's attention. It took her a few seconds more to start to actually move. She still did not speak up, only nodding to her. Tsubine, with all of her upper body strength, pushed Eira's upper body down. She had both hands on her sister's shoulders, putting as much weight on them to keep her sister from moving around. Tsubine stared at her sister's had, which was now violently thrashing about to avoid Serenity's... well, whatever she was doing. In fact, Tsubine had no idea what she was doing, but this kind of reaction... it must be good... right...?

    What's in a Name? [CLOSED] SerenityLuxannaEira_zpsf63a30b7

Serenity seemed to be calm, but she wasn't. Her heart was racing and she was doing her best to keep her breathing controlled. What she felt within this woman, Eira, was something she hadn't felt often. The hatred was immense, but it was not real. It was planted there and Serenity could tell. As Eira began to struggle, Luxanna had the right idea. HOLD THAT CRAZY BITCH DOWN! is something that some other people might say, but not these two for fear of execution. Luxanna did her best to prevent Eira from breaking the restraints. This woman was not weak and could likely break through or at least weaken the restraints if just left to struggle. "GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME!" she demanded in that demonic sounding voice again and again. Serenity closed her eyes, doing her best to concentrate as her own purified energy began it's battle with the corruption within Eira. Though she would not say it out loud yet, Serenity had to admit that this was a lot harder than she thought it'd be.

The corruption was strong, eating away at her energy at the same rate that she was destroying it. If this were to keep up, Serenity might end up with ninety percent of her energy eaten away. "Ah..." Serenity let out an unintentional gasp as a large chunk of her Arcana was suddenly broken off and eaten away out of no where. It felt like an attack of some sort; it wasn't a fun feeling. "What's wrong?" Luxanna asked when she saw the strained look on Serenity's face. Serenity glanced toward her and then to Tsubine. She took a few quick breaths and then one big one before calming down a it. "Talk to her..." Serenity said to Tsubine, "As your sister. Remind her of... something. A memory maybe." Serenity had a theory to help this move a lot easier. If Tsubine were able to some how reach Eira, like she had before, then Serenity wouldn't be the only one aiding her in this battle. Luxanna seemed to immediately catch on to that fact as well. Serenity had begun sweating, her breathing was heavy, and her heart was racing.

Once Tsubine would begin to talk to Eira, if she chose to do so, Serenity would close her eyes and begin a certain technique she had. Though it could not be seen, a cloak of Arcana will form around Serenity. Everything within six feet of her will begin to feel the effects of her aura, meaning Luxanna, Tsubine, and even Eira. Serenity chose to use this technique to help draw out Eira and weaken the hold of the Arcana on Eira's mind. If this worked, it will help force the Arcana out of control completely and then she would be able to eradicate it with her own Arcana. At this point, the rest was up to Tsubine and the bond she shared with her sister. The problem was, Serenity was already feeling the corruption weakening her, so this needed to be done fast or it would not be completed.

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME!" Tsubine struggled to keep Eira's upper body pinned down. She had her adrenaline rushing, but she still was exhausted. The fact she hadn't been eating enough was showing, but dammit this was going to work. Tsubine put as much strength as she could against Eira. But it wasn't enough it seemed, as Serenity spoke up. "Talk to her... as your sister. Remind her of... something. A memory maybe." Maybe... that might work. Maybe that's what snapped her out of it before. Yes, maybe Eira remembered Tsubine during their fight! Maybe, no, yes! That's what it was! Tsubine's mind was set that this would work. But... "A... a memory?" She had no idea which one to pick. But then... she remembered a promise. "Never mind. I know..."

"I remember... " Tsubine closed her eyes, trying to listen to her memories to find it. And then... she did. "It was a rainy day, sometime just before the miserable dog days of summer. I can not remember the month... but it was a late afternoon. I had gone out before the storm to try to find something... what was it again?" She began to think, if only for a few seconds. "Ah, that is right... it was the material I was making your ribbon out of. That soft plant that you can only find on the outskirts of Mont Blanc... Most of the plants had already either died or been harvested. It was the time of summer gifts, and many people were also making ribbons out of that material for their girlfriends or wives. Me? I only wanted to surprise my sister. It was an odd thing to do looking back, but I do not regret it. But the only plant left with enough to make the material out of was up a steep hill. Thankfully, there were stairs carved into it. I climbed to the top of that hill. It was not that we could not go up there, but we were advised against it. But I had to have that plant. I went against everything I had warned you about, scolded you about... only to make you a gift I had no idea if you would like or not."

"While I stood atop the hill, I noticed the clouds turning grey. If I could just rip out the plant, it would be easy. But the process to strip the bark off was time-consuming. If I did not do it just right, the insides were going to be ruined. But even as it began to rain, I continued. I did not care if I became ill or soaked. I had to get that plant. And I did, but by the time I was finished... it was almost a downpour. " Tsubine's body was focused on holding Eira down. Her mind, however, was focused on this memory. "And the stairs... this is where they became a nuisance. The stairs were really, really slick when wet. And yet I had to go down them because it was a guarantee I would slip on the steep slope. Well, that day it was a guaranteed fall either way..." She let out a dry, almost sad chuckle. She could no longer tell if Eira was still thrashing about or not. In fact, she couldn't even hear what the others were saying.

"I was halfway down them and my foot came out from under me, I stumbled down the remaining stairs, still not falling. Somehow, I even managed to turn sideways without falling down. It was a miracle I did not break my neck that day... but as I tried to secure the bag with the material for your ribbon... I landed. I thought I had one more step, but I did not. My leg landed with force onto the side, causing my ankle to be bent in a way it was not meant to. I remember falling onto my back, holding the bag tightly to my chest. I tried to stand up... and my leg gave out under me. There was no way I could make it back home by walking... so I began to crawl. " She recalled how painful that was and winced slightly. "I was on the canyon's bank when I heard you, screaming my name. I guess mom and dad were worried that I had not come back, so rushed out to try to find me. I was already exhausted from the pain and from stripping the bark, but I screamed back, saying over here, over here! You ran over to me, asked what happened... I just said I was on that hill and slipped on the stairs when it began to rain. I would not answer why I was on that hill, but you got the hint I was not going to spill why. "

"You sighed... and then put me on your back. You always were the stronger of us, and so it was easy to carry me, I suppose. I just remember that you were running back home with me on your back across the muddy roads. I held on for my life because I knew if I fell, it would hurt a lot more than my foot did. When we got home, we were both scolded... well, after they made sure we were okay and treated my leg the best they could. I had those wooden splints that gave me that funny limp, remember? I would try to run after you the weeks after the fall and I could not catch up... so I spent my time sewing that ribbon. " Tsubine opened her eyes finally. They were tearing up. "A few days later... we learned that where you found me had collapsed minutes after we had left there. I would have still been crawling... and I would have died. Maybe not from the fall, but probably from the rushing waters in the canyon."

"Eira... you saved my life. I told you that when we learned that. I told you that as I held you tight, thanking you, crying..." Tsubine's eyes began to more than tear up. They began to leak, the tears falling onto her sister's bare neck. "I told you I would pay you back." She began to sniffle slightly, trying to hold back the tears. No, there was no holding them back. They now fell like carpet bombing onto her. "I told you I would always save you if you were in danger. " Her strength remained in her arms, but Tsubine was outright bawling now. She was inhaling hard with cutting interruptions. "So... please... Eira... sister... just please let me repay you!" She began to scream at Eira. She was not going to lose her sister. She had that debt to repay for one. "I do not care if you are not the same!... I... I just want my sister back!... please... just let me have her back..." Eira had saved Tsubine's life... Tsubine only wish she had the ability to save hers.

    What's in a Name? [CLOSED] SerenityLuxannaEira_zpsf63a30b7

As Serenity's aura surrounded them all, they'd all feel warm and something nudging them toward a happier or lighter train of thought. Eira was fighting it. She was listening to her sister, as if she could ignore that voice, but she was doing her best not to react. And then came "the ribbon". Eira's eyes diverted to her sister, Tsubine. She stared straight at her for a few moments, intensely glaring in fierce anger upon the realization that she was being pulled in. Serenity's removal of the corruption was not helping her current case either, but it was something she could not fight. As Luxanna continued to do her job of holding Eira's legs in place, she became interested in the story being told. Serenity was as well, but loss of concentration for a moment could cause this to go bad. The corruption would gain a new foothold and Serenity might not be able to regain it, especially since this stuff rapidly regenerated.

Eira continued her attempts to get away from Tsubine, but her will to do so was weakening. Her thrashing around was becoming less and less as the story was told, as she was held, and as Serenity was eradicating the corruption that forcefully altered her mental status. "Stop this..." Eira said, her voice much more normal, but still not the same. It was anger, but it was also like she was begging, pleading for them to stop what she thought she hated. The memory began flooding back to her mind. She remembered the day that her sister was speaking of. "Keep going. It's working." Serenity told Tsubine confidently. Serenity closed her eyes and increased the amount of Arcana she was putting into this. Eira's eyes flashed toward their normal color, the dull yellow eyes that haunted the memories of so many people just began to fade away.

"So... please... Eira... sister... just please let me repay you!" Eira's eyes flashed again and again until the yellow stuck for a moment and then faded completely away, "I do not care if you are not the same!... I... I just want my sister back!... please... just let me have her back..." Serenity brought her other hand down toward Eira's torso, keeping her first on Eira's forehead, and spread a layer of Arcana through out her entire body. Most of it was gone, but she was making sure the last of it was completely destroyed, otherwise it could come back. Eira stopped thrashing around completely and just stared at her sister. A few moments passed and Serenity took a deep breath, taking a step back and removing her hands. Every single ounce of the Aracna was removed from Eira's body. She could sense none and her Arcana felt none left over. Eira should be fine, at least they hoped.

"You idiot..." Eira suddenly spoke up and glared at Tsubine. Serenity and Luxanna both froze, their hearts racing when the first this Eira said was an insult toward her sister. "You were heavy as hell, always have been. How is carrying you around easy?" Eira said seriously, but then a smile formed on her face and she began to laugh. The color came back to her skin, her eyes were normal, and so was her voice. The first thing she did was attempt to pull her sister into a hug, but was stopped by the restraints, which just caused her to laugh as well. Serenity soon began to laugh after that, shaking her head cheerfully and then clapping. "You have your sister back!" Serenity said. Luxanna merely took a step back, nudging on Serenity's arm to pull her out of the room. "Come on. Let them have some time together." Luxanna said and the two walked out of the room.

"You idiot..." Tsubine's eyes shot to Eira. Her voice was different, but her glare was almost the same. Tsubine's exhausted mind didn't pick up on it, so she still tried to hold Eira's body down. However, she was beginning to weaken her force on her sister, so Eira would've been able to push her away if it came down to it. "You were heavy as hell, always have been. How is carrying you around easy?" But that made Tsubine recognize it. Her eyes lit up, sparkling now not just because of tears... but of sheer happiness. Although, that's what her tears turned into as well. She let go and moved back slightly. Her knees then gave out on her, as if finally saying "WE CAN SLEEP NOW, HURRAH!" But she was able to catch herself to make it at least look like that's what she wanted. Since she was taller than most, her being on her knees didn't put her at level height with her sister's face.

Tsubine was still so excited to see the Eira she knew and loved back. To hear her pick on her... it was mean, but she missed it. At least Eira wasn't trying to kill her instead. She tiredly reached into her collar, pulling out a key on a necklace. Tsubine herself had the key to the restraints because she and she alone knew her sister better than anyone. "You say that even though I have been keeping my weight down..." She tiredly chuckled. "Though with these long legs... I guess I can not expect to lose too much." She wasn't going to take any offense to what Eira said. She was just... so happy to have her back finally. She turned the key in the lock of the first restraint, the shackle retreated inside the table right after. Tsubine then placed the key in Eira's hand, as she could not walk around to the other side to unlock it. She held onto her sister's hand tightly for a moment. "Welcome back..."

"You have your sister back!" Tsubine heard the clapping and turned to the cheerful young woman with green hair. She smiled at her, and was about to say something before Luxanna broken in. "Come on. Let them have some time together." Tsubine nodded, "Thank you. It is greatly appreciated..." Tsubine was quickly getting more and more tired. She was finally able to relax, and her heart began to calm. She then stopped the two women from leaving just yet, calling out to them briefly. "Please... wait upstairs. Tell the guards to open a line to Lunaria for me..." Tsubine was going to tell Lunaria to make sure they were as comfortable as possible as well as to prepare two bedrooms for those two. They were going to be spending the night, whether they wanted to or not. "but before you leave, you have my sincerest gratitude—the both of you."

    What's in a Name? [CLOSED] SerenityLuxannaEira_zpsf63a30b7

The Emperor and her sister were finally reunited and not just in body. Serenity and Luxanna couldn't help but smile at the scene. Eira was quickly released so she took her sister in her arms and held her tightly. "Yeah, but being so tall and strong makes you one hell of a warrior..." Eira released her sister a bit and then turned her back, "I can still feel that damn tackle." Of course that was meant as a joke, Tsubine would know that. Eira sat up and placed her feet over the side of the bed. It had been a while since she was in the right of mind. At the moment, everything was good. She could think clearly. She wasn't wanting to hurt anyone. And as her sister turned to the other two, her mind began to break. Screams from young men, women, and children echoed in her thoughts as the memories began flooding back to her. It took all she could not to begin crying right then and there because of how many people she had hurt. When her sister smiled though, it made her feel much better. "-but before you leave, you have my sincerest gratitude—the both of you." Eira's mind snapped back into reality and she turned toward Luxanna and Serenity. "Mine as well... Thank you... both."

It really was a wonderful sight to see, but someone wasn't completely happy. Luxanna's entire mission had just completed. She aided the Emperor in the only way she knew how and reunited her with her sister. Eira's name was going to be feared through out Arcadia and Cieria, but over time that should clear. With her own, Serenity's, Nadia's, and the Emperor testifying about this corruption that took her over, Eira should be forgiven. At least that is what she hoped would happen. There was no telling how many people that Eira killed. She never left anyone alive, at least until she came across Pariah and Amaro, who Luxanna would force to forgive her. Even with how happy the Emperor was now, there was a lot coming for her sister and she was likely going to get caught in it. She only hoped that it would be okay. These thoughts are why she wanted to leave the room so quickly, but there was one more. "What am I going to do now?" she thought as she began leading Serenity's cheerful self out of the room. Before they could fully exit, the Emperor stopped them both. They turned to her with curious expressions, though Luxanna's was more calm than anything.

"You're welcome of course!" Serenity spoke up before Luxanna could, "Glad I could help ya!" Serenity continued her way out of the room and Luxanna showed a soft smile toward Tsubine as a you're welcome. A moment after, her gaze shifted toward Eira who was staring quite intently at her. The two shared a moment of eye contact that could only be called 'tension' and then Luxanna stepped out of the room. "Haha..." Eira merely chuckled a little at that. It wasn't tension for her. It was observation. She wasn't going to say anything right now, but Luxanna's hurry to get out of the room made Eira curious about something. "Someone likes my sister." she thought and then looked toward Tsubine with a big smile. Luxanna closed the door behind her and did as Tsubine instructed over this woman named "Lunaria". From there, Luxanna and Serenity used the elevators to make their way up. Serenity was about to start pushing buttons and Luxanna grabbed her hand. "No." she said quite seriously and soon they were at the top. A woman with green hair lead them off to their rooms and instructed them to spend the night so they can head out without being exhausted in the morning.

Tsubine's tears began to fall once more as she returned Eira's embrace. Frankly, it was like a big relief coming over her. This... this proved it. The fact that Eira's hands were not around her neck proved that this was her sister. "Yeah, but being so tall and strong makes you one hell of a warrior... I can still feel that damn tackle." "I thank that more to my instructors than I do my own legs... no matter how long and springy they are." She giggled slightly. She could relax around Eira. No matter what, Eira was that lighthouse that Tsubine could rely on if she ever were upset. In that fog of anger and confusion, Eira could always just reach in there with her light and guide Tsubine back to the safety of calmer waters.

Tsubine weakly stood up, making her way over to the chair. She relaxed into the back of it. "You're welcome of course! Glad I could help ya!" She was so innocent... or maybe she was used to this, because it seemed that she didn't understand all of what she had done for Tsubine. She had saved the life of the most important person in the world to her... at least at this moment. Eventually, someone would dethrone Eira from that position. She did not catch the staring contest between Luxanna and Eira. She was too focused on Eira sitting there to notice it, although she did notice that smile... "What's with that wide smile...?" She was curious what Eira knew that Tsubine didn't... although she returned her own smile to her sister. Her smile was just Tsubine being happy to have a conversation with Eira.

A few minutes after Luxanna and Serenity left, Tsubine called for a guard. "Guard, enter." She spoke it loud enough for them to hear it through the doors. A single guard with hair as orange as fire walked in and bowed. "At your service, your highness." "Call for the doctor... and bring another chair. My sister shall not be sitting on that bed any longer." Tsubine knew that bed was uncomfortable. It was, frankly, meant to be. But now Eira was fine, and she'd be getting the treatment she deserved. The guard nodded. "Right away, ma'am." The blaze-haired guard left them, shutting the door behind him. Tsubine turned back to Eira. "Eira... after this we can go and find you some new clothes. I do not think you walking around in your armor for now will be good..." She took in a deep breath with what she was about to say. It had been around thirteen years... "And... I think it is about time I... no, we saw our parents again."

    What's in a Name? [CLOSED] SerenityLuxannaEira_zpsf63a30b7

    "What's with that wide smile...?"

Eira looked toward her sister and smiled. She waited for the doors to shut completely and then spoke up. "That woman..." she spoke softly, a flash of memory hitting her for a moment. She froze and her smile faded. She remembered that she pretty much sneak attacked Luxanna and blasted her with the intention to kill. "Uh..." Eira cleared her throat and shook her head, forcing up a smile to stay on subject, "She's the one that found me... isn't she?" Eira waited for the answer and then nodded speaking up again, "And she is the one that hunted the green haired girl down, right?" She once against waited for an answer of some kind. "It doesn't strike you as odd?" Eira said with a smirk. If Tsubine wouldn't get it, she'd giggle and speak up. "Come on, sis... She likes you." Eira stated and stood up, stretching her back a bit. She dropped her arms back down to her sides and stepped around, feeling the need to walk. "And I don't mean in the friendship way either..." Eira continued, "Whether she gets it now or later, that woman is interested in you." Eira waited for a few moments to watch her sister's reaction. She assumed Tsubine would deny it, or not see the signs. "How many people do you know randomly help others the way that woman has chosen to help you? Think about that for a second." Eira smiled and nodded to confirm her suspicions on Luxanna. This was going to be interesting...

It was then that Tsubine chose to call the guard in. Eira smirked, but looked the other way to not let her sister see. She assumed her sister was attempting to change the subject. She could tell what Luxanna thought of Tsubine, but wasn't fully sure the other way around, which was odd because she usually could read her sister like a book. Maybe being apart for so long changed that? She hoped not though. The guard was ordered to get a doctor and then Eira sat back down on the bed. The guard was also told to bring in a new chair for her. "O-Oh, that's okay." she said, but it was a little too late. "Eira... after this we can go and find you some new clothes. I do not think you walking around in your armor for now will be good..." Eira just nodded in agreement to that. There wasn't much point in arguing. "What's wrong?" Eira asked when she noticed her sisters hesitation on the next sentence. "And... I think it is about time I... no, we saw our parents again." Tsubine said and Eira froze. It took quite a bit before it even register in her head properly enough for her to reply. A good thirty seconds of pure silence passed by before Eira could speak. "I-I-I can't. N-Not yet. N-No." Eira stood up and walked to the opposite side of the room, "I can't do that. N-Not any time soon... M-Maybe not ever. Tsubine, no." It was obvious that Eira was panicking like crazy. She didn't know if she could face her parents after everything she had done; she assumed they were ashamed to call her their daughter.

"That woman..." Tsubine looked at her sister, waiting to see what Eira had to say. In case she didn't trust her, Tsubine would tell her that she trusted Luxanna. That should quell any doubt. "She's the one that found me... isn't she?" Tsubine blinked and nodded. "Although I think she had help... yes." "And she is the one that hunted the green haired girl down, right?" Tsubine nodded and blinked again. The first question at least made sense. She wanted to know who helped Tsubine out, right? Right. This one didn't. "I believe so, yes..." She was confused at this... why was Eira bringing this up?"It doesn't strike you as odd?"

Tsubine thought for a moment. Did it? Tsubine thought for a moment. It was somewhat odd. I mean, Tsubine had struck her. But Luxanna seemed like a nice person... so maybe that was it? So Tsubine just shook her head. "A little... but I think I can trust her." And then Eira's smirk came along... as well as the reality Eira observed. "Come on, sis... She likes you." Tsubine blinked as Eira stood up. She didn't catch on at first. Luxanna seemed to be a friend, so she would like Tsubine... "And I don't mean in the friendship way either... Whether she gets it now or later, that woman is interested in you." And that's when it hit her. Well, it still took her a few seconds for it to register. And with that register came an increase in blinking speed. "How many people do you know randomly help others the way that woman has chosen to help you? Think about that for a second"

Tsubine thought of that, just like her sister asked. Why would Luxanna help her, if not because of the Noir? She even put Tsubine ahead of the Noir. But the blinking only continued without a word. But then Tsubine's mind began to connect dots. It may have been the suggestions by Eira... or maybe her own thoughts, but Tsubine's cheeks began to rosen. "Hawah..." She made a noise that approached confusion embodied. "T-that is impossible. I-I am the Emperor, she must be doing it out of respect, of course." Tsubine's faith in Luxanna was not wavering... but her thoughts on her? They sure were. Tsubine respected Luxanna, definitely. Not just as a warrior or a diplomat, but as a woman. This wasn't helping her! Tsubine mentally slammed her head into a wall. "She is a capable warrior and a member of a group that wanted to do business with Zakat. That is all it is... I doubt she wants to pursue anything more than a professional relationship with me." Tsubine nodded, as if she was confident in her thinking.

But for some reason, she still felt the need to continue on the subject. "I-I mean I know I am attractive and she is not bad-looking eithe—hie!" Tsubine made a bit of a squeak as her cheeks reddened even more upon realizing what she had said. Eira would surely pick that out, and it only further embarrassed her. Now she was regretting continuing this subject. She wanted to just go bury herself in her bed and not have to deal with this. This was too embarrassing... But then Tsubine began to smile. It had been a while since she had been like this, just chatting casually with someone. Even though she had no children of her own, Tsubine was either motherly or purely professional (with kindness mixed in) with people. Eira... well, Tsubine didn't feel the need to be like a mother to her.

Feeling the need to finally change the subject, Tsubine called for a guard to come in. She asked for a chair to be brought for Eira. "O-Oh, that's okay" Tsubine shook her head at her sister. "No, I insist. You surely must have some discomfort from that horrible bed." She smiled back to her twin. "We had thought of putting something more comfortable beneath you... but it would be too hard to counter-enchant—for our safety and yours." She was serious. The last experiment in the enchantment-proof mattress... well, let's just say they would have had seen deep-fried Eira instead of this woman pacing around. And then Tsubine brought up their parents. Eira froze and Tsubine picked up on that. "I-I-I can't. N-Not yet. N-No." Tsubine tried to stand up, but she couldn't. "I can't do that. N-Not any time soon... M-Maybe not ever. Tsubine, no."

"Although I do not have as much to fear from it... I too am terrified of seeing them again." Tsubine's smile turned slightly sad, although she was still happy (in essence). "I left them for thirteen years without any contact whatsoever during that period. I do not even know if they still live in the same place..." She looked up to the ceiling. "But I think if I had you there... I think I would be fine. And I would not dare make you go alone. I would be there with you..." She looked back down to her sister. "It would only be a small portion of my atonement for leaving you for thirteen years."

Ha! She finally got it. Eira watched her sister with a cocky smirk as Tsubine began to deduce what Eira was talking about when it came to Luxanna. Her sister was so confused; it was adorable! The blush and squeak-like noise that Tsubine made when she started talking about how good looking Luxanna was caused Eira to laugh a bit. "Not bad looking?" Eira raised an eyebrow at her sister, "That woman is hot and you know it... And I like her attitude." Eira crossed her arms and then one leg over the other as she sat down on the uncomfortable bed. Yeah, her sister was right about it. It'd be nice to have a chair, but it'd also be nice to get the hell out of this room. It felt odd; she needs a little bit of fresh air. "Something tells me you're liking her too..." Eira pointed out right before the guard came in. Perfect timing. Now that can be on her sister's mind for a while, making her think more and more about Luxanna's true motives behind helping her so much. It wasn't bad for Eira to plant a little love seed in Tsubine's heart. If anything, it would help Tsubine stop being dense and pay attention to a few signs.

Once the guard left to get the chair, the idea of going to see their parents came up and Eira couldn't handle it. She listened to Tsubine's reason behind that, but that began upsetting her more. She looked away from her sister completely, shaking her head as Tsubine tried convincing her it would be okay. And then the word 'atonement' came up and that hit Eira harder than anything ever could. "Atonement..." she said through a clenched jaw. She lowered her head and stayed silent for a couple of moments. "You went on and became leader of Zakat... You're the Emperor." Eira said, her voice lower than normal, "You've done great things, like we all thought you would... There is nothing you need to atone for... I on the other hand..." Eira shook her head and sniffled a little. She looked back toward Tsubine and revealed a face drenched horribly with tears. "I'm a murderer. I... have... killed... so many people... Innocent people." Eira said through a strained voice, "How can I go back there... H-How can I look them in the eye... How can I face them with what I've done? How can I even ask them to ever forgive me?!" Eira shook her head and looked away from her sister again...

"It's even worse because... I'm not even sure i want them to... I don't deserve it."

"Not bad looking? That woman is hot and you know it... And I like her attitude." Tsubine didn't know how to reply. She just blinked, still blushing at Eira's comments. It's not like Eira was wrong. No... Tsubine had never thought of her like that. She was just a friend. A friend she had met just a short while ago. A friend that she could admit was attr-No, not again! She mentally shook her head and slammed it even more into the wall. She wasn't going down that road again. Eira snapped her out of that, however. "Something tells me you're liking her too..." Tsubine's face turned blood red. Hawaaaaaaaaah... She was not having a good day when it came to this. Her sister was picking on her! Tsubine both had missed and not missed this. She was far better than Tsubine ever could be on that... In order to avoid having to answer that, she called in the guard.

After the guard left and the two began talking on their parents, Eira turned away from Tsubine. She shook her head as the Emperor tried to comfort her sister. "Atonement... You went on and became leader of Zakat... You're the Emperor." Tsubine stayed silent. She was right to a point. Yes, the Emperor is the highest position one can have in Zakat. It was simply amazing. She lived a glamorous life and had no regrets. "You've done great things, like we all thought you would... There is nothing you need to atone for... I on the other hand..." But on the other hand, Tsubine had such responsibility on her shoulders. Not only that, Tsubine had... well, she had done her share of bad deeds. Nothing like her sister, but she wasn't entirely a good person anymore. The only difference was that Tsubine was not going around with her own blade doing those deeds... most of the time. Well, there was one more difference...

"I'm a murderer. I... have... killed... so many people... Innocent people." That difference. Tsubine's dark deeds rarely had anything to do with innocent people. She couldn't eliminate poverty or help everyone out, but she did do her best with innocents. With people who were criminals? They were shown no mercy. Tsubine thought of all of the times she watched camera feeds from soldiers on the "battlefields." As if taking out an entire warehouse district of criminals was a battlefield. "How can I go back there... H-How can I look them in the eye... How can I face them with what I've done? How can I even ask them to ever forgive me?!"

How could she indeed? "It's even worse because... I'm not even sure I want them to... I don't deserve it." Tsubine forced herself up. She had to force herself up. She almost wobbled over to Eira, placing her arms tightly around her sister. "Shhh..." Tsubine just wanted to tell Eira everything was going to be okay. But that wasn't right. She just held her sister for a few minutes, letting her cry. That's what family is for, right? "Eira... you did not want to do all those terrible things, right? You did not want to attack me like you did, right?" Tsubine looked at Eira. Tsubine knew the answer to those, or so she thought. Either way, after Eira would answer... the doctor came in. Two guards, carrying a chair identical to Tsubine's, followed.

"I hate to break this up, but would you mind sitting down, Miss..." Tsubine interrupted. "Eira. Treat her as you would me, as she is my sister." The guards then rushed to set the chair down. It was as if just Tsubine telling them that was enough for them to kick their asses into gear. "My apologies, Your Excellency. Miss Eira, please sit down so I may check your vitals." The guards rushed back to the sides of the door, standing at attention. Tsubine nodded to her sister and let her go, hobbling back to her chair and gently sitting down in it. It was all she could do to stay awake...

    What's in a Name? [CLOSED] SerenityLuxannaEira_zpsf63a30b7

The moment Tsubine came to her and hugged her, Eira's arms rapidly wrapped around her sister. It was as if she were desperate. She needed some sense of normalcy. She needed to be with her sister; it was the only thing that she knew could keep her sane at this point. She just cried into her sisters shoulder, holding her tightly as her body trembled from the horrifying memories that still plagued her mind. "Eira... you did not want to do all those terrible things, right? You did not want to attack me like you did, right?" Tsubine said and Eira looked toward her sister. "Of course not. I'd never, ever want to hurt you, no matter what." Eira went back to crying into her sister's arms. She stood there for a few minutes, letting out as much as she could before they were suddenly interrupted. Eira stepped away from Tsubine and turned away, wiping her face as much as she could.

"I hate to break this up, but would you mind sitting down, Miss..." Tsubine interrupted. "Eira. Treat her as you would me, as she is my sister." The guards hurried along with Tsubine's authoritative tone. "My apologies, Your Excellency. Miss Eira, please sit down so I may check your vitals." Eira just nodded to the request and sat down in the chair. She sat there with puffy red eyes, blinking a lot more than normal to try and keep them from drying out. The woman pushed them open for a few moments to check her eyes, then looked in her ears, then did blood pressure, which ended up being a little high, and finally checked her temperature. Besides a little high blood pressure, Eira was fine. "Alright. Everything checks out." the guard smiled and picked up her things before bowing to Tsubine and walking out. Eira turned toward her sister and pushed up a faint smile, but it was obviously forced. She looked off to the side and began thinking to herself. "What am I going to do now?"

"Of course not. I'd never, ever want to hurt you, no matter what." Tsubine smiled and Eira began to cry again. That was exactly what she wanted to hear. That was exactly what Eira needed to hear herself say. "Then why should you be so ashamed of yourself to fear that our parents would be ashamed of you? I never lost faith in you, even after I met you in person. Never, not even once did I think my sister had become a monster." She lightly rubbed the back of Eira's head as she began to try to comfort Eira's doubts. "I always knew that... something was wrong if it even was you. I even struck Luxanna out of anger when she told me what you had done because I couldn't believe it..." Tsubine's expression and tone went a little sad when she mentioned Luxanna and the incident with her. It's true she regretted it, but she wouldn't have been able to control herself anyways. "Even if your body did it, I do not believe your mind did. I can not say if it was hypnotism, mind control, or some other thing I have no knowledge of... but the one that did that was not my sister's mind."

Tsubine hoped that would calm Eira down and at least let her know that she believed in Eira even if no one else would. "And besides... I am not saying we pack up and leave tonight. I think you need a few days', if not a few weeks', rest before embarking on any sort of travel of that caliber." Tsubine reassured that she wasn't planning on going any time soon. Eira needed time to rest both mentally and physically. Tsubine also needed the rest but she wouldn't show it yet. She called the guards and the doctor, a woman this time, in. The other doctor must have been too afraid to see Tsubine again, but Tsubine wanted to apologize to him. She was actually a little disappointed and her face would show it as the two sisters pulled away from one another. Tsubine went and sat back down as Eira did the same. She smiled as Eira's vitals were checked.

As she finished, the doctor left the room. She bowed to Tsubine, but noticed something and smiled slightly. The doctor said nothing more and motioned for the guards to follow her. "What am I going to do now?" Eira began to turn to her sister... and her reply was even breathing. Yes, the Emperor had finally had a time to relax. And unfortunately, that meant she was asleep. Well, unfortunately for Eira. Tsubine needed that rest. And who knows, it could have been a suggestion for Eira as well. Tsubine knew how uncomfortable that bed was—if you could call such a crude thing a bed. So maybe this was Tsubine's way of telling Eira to relax? Maybe. But Tsubine was mainly telling Eira that she was tired.

    [A FEW HOURS LATER]

"Nnnnnn..." Tsubine's eyes didn't immediately open. The chair was not as comfortable as a bed, so she wasn't able to sleep long. It had been only a few hours since Tsubine had accidentally fallen asleep during a conversation with her sister. But she needed it, and she hoped Eira had gotten some sleep too. But then she thought for a moment. Eira needed something other than the boring hospital robes, which were open at the rear, to wear. Tsubine didn't have much, especially not here, that could fit her sister. She was around the same height, so a dress or something would work... but then there was one difference. Tsubine... well, was a little more endowed than her sister in one area. It was one thing she could hold against her sister. But for once it was causing problems. "Guard." Tsubine spoke softly, still tired. Thankfully, the guard could hear her and entered. "Yes, Your Excellency?" "Tell Lunaria to send down one of my robes... She does not need to come all the way down here, tell her to send someone else. I want her to be out our other guests' disposal. Eira will need something other than that bland gown to wear upstairs, at least until we get to my closet..." "Right away." He bowed and exited, going to a communications terminal to contact Lunaria and relay the orders.

Tsubine had absolutely no idea how much better Eira felt after hearing her speak so kindly over their situations. She had just came out of the control of the corruption and it felt like a ten thousand pound steel ball was just dropped on her heart. Part of her wanted to rid herself of these horrifying memories, to induce amnesia in whatever what she could. She just wanted them to stop haunting her, before the real haunting actually would begin. "Alright..." Eira nodded and pulled gently away from her sister to wipe her face. She was able to stop crying, at least for now. "I guess... we can go seem them some time later, just not too soon." Eira turned away, her expression still sad, but softening enough to have her remember. "Wait... You hit her?!" Eira's eyes widened in shock when she realized what her sister had just said, "You're crazy! Why'd you hit her? There's no way that you got mad enough at anything to hit her. I refuse to believe it!" Eira flailed her arms, showing the amount of surprise that her sister would have expected. She was also trying to lighten that saddened look Tsubine got when talking about it.

After that little conversation, Eira would take a deep breath and calm down. Her mind would return to the current situation and she'd ask herself out loud... "What do I do now?" She looked back toward Tsubine and was about to say something when she noticed her sister was asleep. "... Heh." Eira shook her head and walked over to her sister. She adjusted the way Tsu was laying, making sure her head was in a comfortable position and then sat down in the chair that had been brought for her. She looked out the window, unaware that the outside was actually fake and stared at it. She was happy to be with her sister again, but she had things she needed to do. She needed to find one person that she left alive, just one. When she did that, she would apologize to them. At the moment, she could only remember two that got away: A little white haired girl and a very golden man. After thinking about everything for a bit, Eira soon thought enough to push herself to sleep. She curled up in the chair, looking like an innocent child who had just had a very long and hard day.

    [A FEW HOURS LATER]

Just because Tsubine woke up, didn't mean Eira did. She was able to sleep much more comfortably being a couple inches shorter and having a smaller chest, so she slept a bit longer. By the time Eira did wake, the guard was just leaving. The click of the door shook Eira from her sleep. She rubbed her eyes and looked around until she saw her sister. "Mm..." Eira took in some air, yawning quite largely as she stretched out and then fell back into the chair relaxed, "How'd you sleep? And it's rude to fall asleep on people when you're talking to them..." Eira was joking of course. She didn't mind it. They were both tired, and for her sister to do that, it meant she desperately needed that sleep.

Eira's eyes began to widen. They showed sheer... shock. "Wait... You hit her?!" Tsubine blinked and nodded. That's what she said, right? Right. Was Eira just that shocked? Maybe... Tsubine's mind was beginning to be more concerned with Eira's reaction to what was talked about rather than the actual subject at hand. "You're crazy! Why'd you hit her? There's no way that you got mad enough at anything to hit her. I refuse to believe it!" Eira's flailing caused Tsubine to take a step back. She didn't want to be accidentally hit by her sister, especially not after what all had happened. But it's true, Tsubine did hit Luxanna. "W-well... this was before I knew anything about what was going on... We were having a meeting about her organization setting up a base in Zakat..." Tsubine's hands were now in front of her stomach, her fingers dancing with one another. "She brought up your name... and began telling me of these awful things... and I could not believe it. It was not until I found someone with your ribbon... a survivor... that I would believe it. And even then, it wasn't until I saw you face-to-face that it fully sank in.... but enough of that talk, please." Eira had calmed her down, but she knew if it continued with this... it would only upset them both more. And so Tsubine went to sleep.

    [A FEW HOURS LATER]

After sending the guard away, Tsubine noticed her sister stirring awake. Her slightly shorter, slightly-less-busty sister, that is. "How'd you sleep? And it's rude to fall asleep on people when you're talking to them..." Eira yawned and stretched loudly, completely contrasting her more feminine and polite twin. Tsubine made some cute—and to some, erotic—noises when waking up of course, but she would not swing her arms out like a man. If she yawned, she'd cover her mouth with a single hand and would only stretch once she got out of bed. "I slept as well as I could in a chair. I would much prefer my bed over this chair... but I made do with what I had. You seemed to sleep well." Tsubine smiled and stood up slowly. She wiggled her toes and arched her back. She was awake for a good few hours more now, which was perfectly fine for her. She had plans.

A maid entered, holding a folded robe of Tsubine's. It was dark blue and tied three times around the front to make sure it wouldn't come loose. It was more of a relaxing robe than a just-got-out-of-the-shower-now-to-go-to-the-closet-robe. It reached just below Tsubine's knees, meaning it would be more like a dress on her sister. Tsubine thanked the maid and gave the robe to Eira. "Here. It is not much, but it will suffice until we can get upstairs to my wardrobe. You should be able to fit into some of my clothes still." Tsubine continued to smile as she picked up her own things from her room as Eira changed into the robe. When Eira was finished, Tsubine smiled and motioned for Eira to follow her. Tsubine now had her boots back on, although her armor was upstairs by now.

She led Eira past the two guards standing outside of the door, who saluted them both. She led Eira past two more guards, who again saluted them both. It was most likely a little odd for Eira, but Tsubine didn't pay it any attention. They eventually reached the elevator and Tsubine pressed a button that would lead them to the ground floor. "It will take a few minutes to get there. We are eighty-something stories beneath the ground floor, after all." Tsubine grabbed her sister's hand, as if she was trying to comfort her and to lead her along. "Upstairs will be bustling possibly, so please hold on... I do not want you getting lost. Oh... since it is probably getting close to night time, what would you like for dinner? I think you will be surprised by what all we can cook." Tsubine was genuinely happy. She was about to be able to share a meal with someone she hadn't in over a decade. Of course the other guests would be able to choose their own meals. It wasn't like everyone was going to have a single course chosen by Eira and Eira alone. The elevator let out a ding to signify they were on the ground floor...

Yeah, Eira's mannerisms were no way near as proper as her sister's. Of course, she had been a hardhearted criminal for quite some time now, so it should be expected. "I slept as well as I could in a chair. I would much prefer my bed over this chair... but I made do with what I had. You seemed to sleep well." Eira just nodded in reply to that. There really wasn't much more to say. Soon, a guard entered and Eira was handed a robe. "Thanks, sis." she said and began to change. The robe came down to her ankles, which she was okay with. She'd rather change into something else quickly, and something told her she needed a bath. Even searching through her own memories, she couldn't remember that last time she had one: disgusting. Seeing her sister motion for her to follow, Eira hurried toward Tsubine and followed her toward the elevator.

"It will take a few minutes to get there. We are eighty-something stories beneath the ground floor, after all." Tsubine explained, grabbing her hand. Eira's own hand wrapped firmly around her sisters. She couldn't deny that she was nervous returning to the surface. Down here she was hidden, away from the eyes of many who may have heard the horrible stories of what she had done. She only hoped that would not happen. "Upstairs will be bustling possibly, so please hold on... I do not want you getting lost. Oh... since it is probably getting close to night time, what would you like for dinner? I think you will be surprised by what all we can cook." Eira nodded, "Alright." Her voice was a little raspy, but that was because of the nervousness. She cleared her throat and took a deep breath, repeating "Alright" to show that she really was okay. A little bit of nervousness would go away easily once she could settle down.

"How come this place was so far down?" she asked a moment before the elevator dinged at them. Soon, the door opened and Eira nervously stepped out. She didn't noticed Luxanna standing to the side. "Are you feeling better?" Luxanna spoke up, pushing herself from her leaning position on the wall. Eira jumped, startled by the woman's voice. "Y-Yes. Much better, thank you." Eira said. Again, there was a moment of staring between the two of them, but this time Eira was the one being challenged, not the other way around. Luxanna pushed up a soft smile and was able to ease Eira's tensions. "Good. Serenity is sleeping. She's exhausted from everything that happened today, and I think she spent a lot more Arcana than she originally expected." Luxanna chuckled at the fact and then moved to stand closer to the both of them. "So, any specifica plans? Lunaria came to tell us that you were coming up, so I assumed we were wanted." Luxanna explained, unaware that Lunaria had already begun her master plan, which would later be discussed with Eira to ensure it's success.

Tsubine didn't sneak a peak while her sister was undressing. That was just odd and wrong. However, Tsubine was curious on something. She wanted to see if Eira had any scars from the time she was under the influence of whatever it was afflicting her. However, it was still her sister and she wouldn't ask her about it. Not yet, at least. After leading her sister out of the room and past the first set of saluting guards, they had to go up a couple flights of stairs to get to the reception area. It essentially had the entire fortifications of Laplace crammed into one room, making it a heavily-defensible area. The elevator actually wasn't into the walls down here. Instead, it was in its own column in the middle of the room. When it would come down, it was in the middle of a shooting gallery. Nothing could get past them here.

They stepped on the elevator, waiting for the long journey upwards. Tsubine didn't mind the trip. She came down here monthly to inspect everything and for random training drills. She hated the drills, but it was necessary to keep the staff vigilant. "How come this place was so far down?" Eira's question was completely valid. "Since you will probably be briefed on it anyways... it is a bunker meant for the Emperor, their family, the Royal Guard, and essential staff to go to in case Laplace is ever under the threat of invasion, rioting, or complete destruction. It is essentially an emergency command center." Tsubine spoke, frankly, as little as she could about it. Yes, Eira was her sister. However, she'd have to actually get Eira debriefed on a lot more before Tsubine would be able to tell her anything specific.

As they stepped off, a familiar voice caught both of the twins off-guard. "Are you feeling better?" It was Luxanna! Tsubine turned to see her, and she smiled softly towards her. It was as if she was happy that Luxanna was concerned about Eira. But more importantly, Tsubine was glad to see Luxanna up and about. "Good. Serenity is sleeping. She's exhausted from everything that happened today, and I think she spent a lot more Arcana than she originally expected." Tsubine nodded along, as she actually didn't notice the cheerful little woman wasn't there at first. "So, any specific plans? Lunaria came to tell us that you were coming up, so I assumed we were wanted." Tsubine happily nodded once. "I am glad she told you. It is getting close to dinner time, so I was hoping we could all have dinner together. It would just be a small token of my thanks towards you two as well as a nice reception for my sister's return."

"But if Miss Verdant is asleep, then I would hate to wake her for it... She has done so much. I feel she has earned that rest." Tsubine really wanted Serenity to join them, of course. However, she also knew that everyone here was tired. "If she can not make it for dinner, then breakfast would be fine." Tsubine just wanted to thank Serenity once—if not thrice or more—again. She was really thankful towards both of them, as well as the Noir, for what all they had done. Tsubine wished Nadia could be here too, but there was something telling her that Nadia seeing Eira would not be a good thing. "Ah, but if you will excuse us... I must get Eira into something more presentable." Tsubine was ready to begin to move Eira in the direction of her own room. That robe was more than likely getting a little breezy, especially since there was a bit more of an open space in the chest area...
