Personality: Greed, Wrath, and Envy. It is quite easy to describe Xavier with all three of these words. Money, women, and power are things he'll go out and take whenever the fuck he feels like it. If you get in his way or anger him at all, don't be surprised when your head is suddenly on the floor. If you have something he wants, but he can't have, he'll make sure that you can't have it either. Rejection is something he will not tolerate; Every woman that has told him no, is no longer among the living. Xavier has a massive inferiority complex that he can't shake. Comparing him to other people is not good in anyway, even if you're saying he's better than them. It's even worse if you say that they are better than him. Doing that is practically an instant death wish on your part.

Xavier grew up never being his own boss, never making his own decisions, and never being in control of anything. Because of this and the fact that he now has all of those things, Xavier will not give it up or even allow someone to attempt to take it away. He can't be hired because he won't allow anyone to think that they're his boss of any sort. He'll send one of his expendable lackeys to do a job and cover their ass if they fuck up, that's about it. He will also not be used; The moment he feels like you're trying to use him in some way, he'll destroy you. When it comes to other people, he doesn't like them being higher than he is, so most of his men bow down to him or are shorter than he. When it comes to his women, don't tell him no and don't expect him to be gentle in anyway.

Although he's strong, he's strict, he seems brave, and seems like he is in control, Xavier is full of many different fears that cause him to act as he does. He fears being enslaved, so he makes sure that he is the boss and the one in control. He fears more powerful people, so he utilizes his abilities to make sure people are on or below his level. He fears not being in control, so he makes sure other people know when to bow down to him. He cannot feel held down, pinned, or shackled in anyway, so the moment he feels he might be arrested or captured in anyway, he runs without care for anyone. He also cannot stand being underground or in any place where whatever is above has the ability to come crashing down. Xavier has created his empire, and at the moment, he plans to keep it.

Note: He spells his name different from his brother because he doesn't know how it's actually done. They were separated so young and before he really knew how to read and write. He only remembered the sound and had to ask someone how it was done. This is how he was told to write it out.

History: Inferiority is a feeling that can drive someone to do things they normally wouldn't have done. Not being in control of any aspect of your own life can cause a person to feel extremely angry. Not being allowed to express your anger, to have fun, and having overwhelmingly difficult expectations thrust upon you since you were a small child is not something that many people are able to handle. People who go through their life without feeling any sense of freedom, care from others, or constantly being compared to another person can drive you crazy. And that's what happened to Xavier; he never could do what he wanted, he was always compared to his older brother, he was always told he needed to be stronger, faster, more skilled, better, better, and even better than that.

Even when the Cartel came, things didn't change. As a slave in Brauk, Xander was still treated different. Xander was stronger and good at what he was doing. Xavier was always the weaker of the two. And after some time there, Xavier's mistakes took him away from the mining area; too many collapses. He ended up being a House Slave, often cleaning, cooking, doing dishes, and things along those lines. He just seemed to mess up everywhere he went. And with each of these mistakes he made, there was another set of whippings. It almost became second nature to him. After years of slavery, a raid was done on the house and everyone scattered. Xavier took this chance to run away and succeeded. The only problem was that he had nowhere to go and didn't know how to find his brother.

Xavier ended up with a group of men who taught him how to be a thief. He learned to be sneaky and quick, something he was actually good at. Strong was not something he could be; he wasn't built that way. He began stealing over and over again, becoming a trusted asset of a man who was trying to make his way up in the criminal underground. Over the years, Xavier became a dark-minded criminal with little to no care for anyone other than himself and those he could use. The man he worked for was a slight exception, at least until that man betrayed him and Xavier learned a new ability that left the guy powerless. With a quick swing of the sword, Xavier cut the bastards head off. Since then, Xavier has been the leader of a small criminal group that steals, kills, and kidnaps on hire.


Magic

Type: Sorcerer
Description: The Null Zone

The Null Zone is a certain area around the user that completely nullifies all Arcana that come into it's range. There are two ranges: Personal and Medium. If any Arcana is about to take contact with Xavier's body, a small aura of his own energy will press outwards and nullify it equally, leaving an absolute balance between himself and the source. This applies to anything at any level of strength, and is unaffected by any differences in power between himself and that source. While this is an extremely strong power to have, there is also a counterbalance--he is unaffected by allied Arcana in exactly the same light, meaning that he cannot be healed through magical means. Injuries, to put it simply, have a way of taking him out of combat for a while, so he aims to take as few injuries as he can.

At the personal range, it's just effecting his own body, but to raise that range to Medium, Xavier can, at will, create a 10-foot-radius zone in an area centered on his body. While in this zone, Arcana is nullified and cannot be created. This applies to buffs, but also to debuffs--it puts all within the zone on a level playing field. Elven folk are unaffected, because Elves are not Humans--this is untrue for any projectiles fired from an Elf, however. This zone can last for, at most, ten rounds before requiring five rounds to recharge. Obviously, all of this means that Xavier is incapable of using Arcane Items and Arcane Weapons as well, though it usually seems like he can't use Arcana at all.

Combat

Skills:

Sneak Thief: Moving stealthily, hiding in plain sight, lock picking, pick pocketing, and disabling traps are all skills that Xavier knows how to do and does them well. He's quick on his feet and great with his hands. He is able to spot a trap pretty well and knows how to disable them too. If he wants to remain hidden, he knows how to use his environment to his advantage and keep himself from being seen.

Combat: Xavier is not the best at combat, especially against ranged opponents. He's never had to be in the middle of a true fight. He usually uses his stealthiness to surprise attack someone from behind or while they're not looking. He does have the ability to use the sword he carries, but on an adept level.

Diplomat: Xavier is damn good with his words and manipulating people. Information is his power, so he uses what he knows to get exactly what he wants. It's extremely difficult to figure out whether this guy is telling you the truth or not.
