Personality: Xavier is easily angered and enjoys making sure people that go against him feel his wrath. He's quite strategic and doesn't show his anger much, but once you've made him mad you've probably ended your own life. Xavier doesn't like being told what to do or be treated like he is less than someone else. Anyone who feels they are superior to him will piss him off. Other things that piss him off include anyone who doesn't listen to his command or anyone who treats him the way he treats them. He doesn't give a damn about you. He cares only for himself, so if he fucks you over it doesn't matter. However, if he does the same damn thing to you, you better just deal with it. Trying to go against him is stupid and he does not hesitate to retaliate with violence. It's safer to just listen to him.

Xavier does not like getting his own hands dirty. He prefers having someone else do the job for him. If he absolutely has to, then he will get off his ass and take care of it, but this is rare. If you fail him at a job he's given you, then he'll likely beat the ever living hell out of you. You will not make him look like a fool. Xavier takes pride in what he has built in his underground world and no one will take that away from him. Making him look like a fool will make his minions question his power and authority and he just will not have that. Xavier is a greedy bastard who never seems to get enough. He wants power, gold, women, and all of the expensive items that he never had when he was young. He's become very materialistic and actually fears losing what he has. This is why his "treasure hunts" never really end.

Xavier is an angry, greedy, and selfish bastard, but there are some sides to him that are surprisingly not that bad. For one, he has enough coin sitting at home and knows he will get more, so tossing a few silver and maybe even gold at someone who needs some clothes or food is something he would do. He won't toss out hundreds, but a small bit is good for him. Xavier also will not harm a child. He won't allow a child to stay enslaved, but will also not take care of the kid. He'll get the child to a proper orphanage or back to their parents and then leave. That's it. Xavier also has a few friends that aren't horrible people, but likely don't know about his background. One of these friends is Thaddeus Waylon. Of course Thaddeus has no idea about what Xavier actually does and Xavier wants to keep it that way.

History: Xavier was sold into slavery before he was even born. The moment he turned six, the person he had always called his Mother dragged him off and left him with a strange man. Xavier was quickly conditioned to being a worker, but his body was easily broken. His "master" realized he would be no good for hard labor and tossed him in the brothel to work as a non-sexual servant until he was old enough. He stayed there until he was fourteen and a woman decided she wanted his first time. Though it was a month from his fifteenth birthday, his "master" agreed to what the woman demanded and handed Xavier over. Though he had witnessed the act many times, he had never thought to participate in it and did not want to. He fought the woman off, but was pinned and forced into it.

Once the first time was done, there was no reason to hold back. Xavier became somewhat of a professional in the aspect of pleasing a woman, but did not do it for them or his job. He did it for himself. When he turned eighteen, a few more interesting women showed up and tried adding Arcana into the bedroom. None of it worked on him. People kept trying and trying, but anything that was Arcana based did not work on him. Xavier realized that this was his power and his way to escape this place without much issue. They relied so much on stolen Arcane Items and Weapons that he was immune to their ways of keeping him prisoner. Xavier practically walked out of the brothel, but did not hesitate to steal a large amount of gold, kill multiple customers of his, and kill the owner.

Xavier immediately saw a doctor and got himself tested for obvious reasons. There had been an outbreak of different sexually transmitted diseases through the brothel for a good six months before he left. The owner did not care and anyone who caught a disease was ignored and forced to keep it hidden. If they did not, they were killed. Xavier was lucky and did not have to deal with catching something so grotesque. Xavier did not participate in sexual activity for three years after that. During this time, he chose to join up with a band of ruffians that taught him how to be a thief. He was taught to be sneaking and fight decently with a sword just in case things went wrong. When the leader of this gang realized Xavier's diplomatic potential, he taught Xavier how to use his words to his advantage.

Xavier pretty much became a leader in his own sense. Three years into this gang membership, at the age of twenty-one, Xavier stopped taking orders and slowly began controlling the others. He had kept avoiding actual fights, allowing him to keep his arcana a secret, but his way of demanding caught the leaders attention. After Xavier claimed to be taking over the gang, the leader decided he wanted to kill Xavier. Unfortunately for the current leader, Xavier was immune to the arcana abilities that the leader always relied on. The man tossed so many attacks at him, but they did nothing. Xavier just walked up to him and stabbed him through the eye and let him slide off of his sword. With no question from anyone else in the gang, Xavier had successfully and easily taken over the gang.

Xavier's ability to lead was superior to their previous leader. Within six months, the entire group had collected an amount of wealth that no one expected. Their hide out wasn't the most comfortable, but they secretly built it up over time using their underground contacts and a lot of blackmail. It's an underground cave that's done up like a mansion and surprisingly comfortable. When Xavier turned twenty-three, he began to miss a certain urge again. He had been so busy dealing with his previous goals that he hadn't thought of having sex. Since he's where he wants to be and is now pretty much bored, he has bought multiple slaves, even for his subordinates. Whether they like it or not, Xavier has taken to using their bodies like he wants until he's bored and then throws them away.

Magic

Type: Arcanist
Description: The Null Zone

The Null Zone is a certain area around the user that completely nullifies all Arcana that come into it's range. There are two ranges: Personal and Medium. If any Arcana is about to take contact with Xavier's body, a small aura of his own energy will press outwards and nullify it equally, leaving an absolute balance between himself and the source. This applies to anything at any level of strength, and is unaffected by any differences in power between himself and that source. While this is an extremely strong power to have, there is also a counterbalance--he is unaffected by allied Arcana in exactly the same light, meaning that he cannot be healed through magical means. Injuries, to put it simply, have a way of taking him out of combat for a while, so he aims to take as few injuries as he can.

At the personal range, it's just effecting his own body, but to raise that range to Medium, Xavier can, at will, create a 20-foot-radius zone in an area centered on his body. While in this zone, Arcana is nullified and cannot be created. This applies to buffs, but also to debuffs--it puts all within the zone on a level playing field. Elven folk are unaffected, because Elves are not Humans--this is untrue for any projectiles fired from an Elf, however. This zone can last for, at most, ten rounds before requiring five rounds to recharge. Obviously, all of this means that Xavier is incapable of using Arcane Items and Arcane Weapons as well, though it usually seems like he can't use Arcana at all.

Combat

Equipment: He keeps a katana on him at all times.
Skills: Xavier is great at being stealthy. He knows how to blend with crowds, different types of people, and even hide in plain sight. He's a bit of a thief as well, so he is good at lock picking, pick pocketing, and disabling traps of all kinds. He's quick on his feet and great with his hands. He's good at spotting traps and other things out of the ordinary. He's not the best combatant, but that is because he avoids true fights like the plague. He prefers to hire someone or have one of hid minions/servants fight for him. He carries a sword, but isn't that good with it. He can hold is own in a one-on-one fight and he doesn't last long before getting worn out. However, Xavier is damn good with his words and manipulating people. Information is his power, so he uses what he knows to get what he wants. It's extremely difficult to tell whether Xavier is lying, which he probably is but you can't tell.
