Sehlirr did not know what to make of her new master. It had been one day since Xavier had, shockingly, sold her. What shocked Sehlirr was not the simple fact that she was sold. No, that was to be expected. She was merchandise now. She could be bought and sold like a loaf of bread. What shocked Sehlirr was that someone bought used bread and paid as if she were new. Sehlirr was no longer a virgin, and so her value went down tremendously. It was almost the same as if buying a male slave with a missing finger or two. She simply wasn't worth as much as 'untouched' goods.
Sehlirr and her saviour had gone southwest of Xavier's hideout. They seemed to be making their way for Cieria, and thankfully not Brauk. Aeltril was a dark elf like her, and they both seemed to find one another familiar looking. Sehlirr hadn't mentioned it, but she could have sworn she knew Aeltril from her old home. Sehlirr could not return there. She'd be shunned or worse. The Eyllisghymn Clan might just use her as a whore, seeing as that's what she was now. She shuddered at the thought. At least Xavier had kept her for himself. She missed his warmth, especially while camping with Aeltril.
It wasn't until the end of the day that Sehlirr decided to speak up. She had finished making dinner for Aeltril and herself. Another thing that Aeltril had surprised Sehlirr with was that she let Sehlirr eat the same food. It was to be expected she supposed, since they were on the road for the most part, but it still surprised her. Sehlirr had grown accustomed to eating the slop and leftovers that other slaves ate. Although thankfully, Xavier did let her have fresh fruit. "Master Aeltril." Sehlirr called out as she finished unpacking the tent. "Where, might I ask, are we going? Do you have a home to the southwest?" Sehlirr grimaced. "Am I going to be sold once more?"
