L o g a n B r a n t o n
The amount of stress and worry was clouding his mind. Conflicting emotions raised within him every time he saw her face. Should she stay? Should she go? Was it right for him to ask? Did he really want her to stay? Was he ready to be with her at all times? Was he ready to be without her? His home had become hers, at least that's how he thought of it. They were together all the time, but were they 'together'? Did she even want that? Nothing had ever been confirmed. Since that night, that triple date with everyone, Logan's mind wandered in every direction. What boundaries could he push? What boundaries even existed? He didn't know. His fear of rejection kept him from asking. He couldn't speak up. He thought about it every day and night. "Ask her to stay." he'd tell himself, but each time he chickened out, which made him feel more pathetic. Did he even deserve her? Did he deserve Olivia?
The morning came and Logan was once again laying on the couch. His arm laid over his eyes, a blanket fallen half-way off of his body and to the floor. Uncomfortable. Logan sat up and leaned forward to stretch his back, multiple pops sounding out as he did. He arched his back forward and repeated the popping process. "Ugh... Damn couch... This thing is tryin' to kill my back." he said, slouching and looking around the room, clean as always. Well, it had been clean since she showed up. He wasn't going to allow a woman like Olivia to live in a dump, even though this technically wasn't her place, was it? Logan shook his head, trying to shake the thoughts from his mind. He stood up and picked up the blanket and a beer bottle he had half-drank last night. Setting the blanket on the couch, he stepped over to the kitchen and placed the bottle in the fridge, unsure whether he'd actually drink it later.
"Noon? Seriously?" Logan leaned his head to the left and right, cracking his neck. Olivia wasn't up. After a sugar high and playing every game they could think of last night, this wasn't surprising. Logan ran his hands through his hair to straighten it up a bit and walked into his bedroom. Well, it was hers right now. He stepped over and sat down on the side of the bed, watching her for a moment. "Hey..." he spoke up a good twenty seconds later, brushing her hair away from in front of her face, "It's a little late to be asleep... And, I'm sure we've got some things we need to get done today..." He spoke softly to her. He did love having her around; he wasn't lonely when she was there. And when these thoughts crossed his mind, thoughts of her leaving quickly replaced them. He looked away from her and stood up, "Come on, let's get this stuff over with..." With his head low, Logan stepped out toward the kitchen.
