Personality: Elise is the type of girl who is confident in everything but her looks. She knows she's strong, funny, and surprisingly outgoing. Well, outgoing anywhere that doesn't make her take off her armor. Elise refuses to take her armor off when other people are around. She'll go and make sure no one else is around before taking a shower. It's not uncommon for her to take a shower at two or three in the morning just because of how few people would be awake. This is because Elise doesn't want anyone to know that she's half-Zakatian. Elise hates that part of herself. Her mother is one of the worst people in the world to her (we'll get to that later) and is the cause of all of her problems currently. If she weren't half-Zakatian, she wouldn't have to keep proving her loyalty to Arcadia, right?

Elise isn't one for most girly things. Though this isn't a personal distaste, she just can't go around in a dress or care about makeup. Hair dye doesn't work properly with her, so she can't even disguise herself. Thus, Elise gave up on wearing dresses, dancing, and even getting married. That isn't to say she doesn't want those things, but she just doesn't feel she can. "What kind of man would want a halfie like me?" is what she told herself in the mirror as she grew up. Elise can be called a tomboy. She speaks rough even for one though. In the Invisible Knights, Elise (or rather, Magnolia) is known as 'the woman who makes sailors blush.'

Elise loathes her mother. She doesn't remember her mother at all, but she loathes her. Her father, Edward Greene, told Elise all about her mother. She was a bitch who tried to keep him and Elise in Zakat. She threatened to take Elise away from him and also threatened him with charges of abuse. When her mother found out that Elise was an Arcanist, she had plans to 'get rid of' her daughter. So her father took her and ran to Arcadia when he had a chance. So Elise thinks her mother is a manipulative bitch who might have wanted to kill her. Needless to say, Elise doesn't think highly of her mother. It is important to note that this is all what her father told her. It's not necessarily true.

Character Background: Elise had the chance to have a perfect childhood and be with her mother. Her father, however, was a dick. Unbeknownst to Elise—or rather Anastasia Valkov as was her birth name—Edward Greene was an abusive husband to Irina Valkov, Elise's mother. Irina loved her daughter, and Edward sort-of loved Elise too. Elise came to learn in his later years that he didn't love her as much as she thought. But that's neither here nor there. Shortly after her first birthday, Elise was taken to Arcadia. They held up in Black Mountain for most of her childhood. And it was a rough childhood.

Elise was given strange looks because her hair and eyes. Her father explained at a young age that it was because she was half-Zakatian. And Zakatians were terrible, terrible people. Elise learned she was an Arcanist by accident after playing hide-and-seek and always winning. She wanted to 'not be seen,' so she wasn't seen. Elise never really had a chance to learn how to use it though. Her father didn't teach her and spent more and more time with her 'temporary mommies' as she called it. They would come in for a night or two, then leave. She liked a few of them, but most of them didn't know she existed. Edward told her to go to her room a lot. She thought it was because of her hair and eye color.

Elise ran away after her father died. He drank himself to death and died alone, as Elise herself had stopped caring for him for the most part. He died peacefully, which was a relief for Elise. She didn't want to hear him scream or anything. It might tug at her conscious to help him. She had wanted him to get help, but Edward was too stubborn and too much of a dick to do anything about it. She was about to run away when he left. Elise sold their decent home and bought herself some armor. Not just a breastplate, but an entire set of full plate. Afterward, she traveled southward to find a guild. She ended up in Ardale and was approached by a recruiter for the Invisible Knights. She decided to check it out. Although Vaughn McLelland, the guildmaster, was initially skeptical of her, after meeting her in private, he changed his mind quickly. She admitted who she was and the fact that she was half-Zakatian. She used an alias so people from her hometown wouldn't recognize her and call it out. She was loyal to Arcadia now, but if people saw her, they'd question it. Vaughn understood and allowed her in.


Magic

Type: Arcanist
Description: Elise is not well-trained with her Arcana. Currently, she can put up a 'wall' of illusory images. It can be up to eight feet tall and eight wide. It only covers one direction and it is not solid. If something passes through it, the wall ripples. She also can not produce sound with it. The wall can be moved, but she can only have a single wall up at a time. At the very least, it makes for an excellent shower curtain.

Combat

Equipment: Elise has two things to her name—her armor and her sword. Her armor is nothing special other than it is well-crafted. Her sword, on the other hand, is special. It is made out of polished Aeon Steel and gilded in silver. It allows the wielder to pass their own Arcana through it. This means that if they could shoot fireballs from their hands, they could pass their Arcana through the sword and have it shoot from the sword instead.

Skills: Elise is one of the better swordsmen in the Invisible Knights when it comes to certain weapons. She is terrible at light weapons like cutlasses, sabres, rapiers, and the like. But give her a good bastard sword, longsword, or claymore and she can nearly chop a man in two. Elise also has built up muscles to help her wear a suit of full plate all day. She is a half-decent cook too.
